Miss Sheila has a role in the upcoming YouTube series “God Don’t Like Ugly”. You can check out the trailer for the series, which will premiere May 31, here
The surgery that Ric Flair had Monday was heart-related to fix a condition that has been pending for a few years. FOX 5 Atlanta reporter Will Nunley said that the surgery was a serious one even though it was scheduled before and the family knew ahead of time. But the scheduled surgery from Saturday was canceled due to another complication and Flair went under the knife on Monday now at an Atlanta area hospital. Nunley added that family and close friends were very concerned about the surgery, contradicting his son-in-law's comments that there was nothing serious about it. Conrad has not tweeted since May 16 and usually he is very active on Twitter especially just a week before Starrcast, the event that he created and runs. Ric is scheduled to be the headline act of the fan fest with friends and co-workers roasting him in an event at Caesar's Palace on Friday, May 24. The event is four days after heart surgery and there's no info yet if this is going ahead as planned or not.
WWE introduced the 24/7 title on Monday Night Raw with Mick Foley doing the honors. The 24/7 title will be defended 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across all brands: Raw, Smackdown, 205 Live, NXT, NXT UK, and even between Hall of Famers and Legends. The rules are pretty much similar to the old Hardcore title which Foley, as Mankind, was the inaugural champion. Titus O’Neil became the first champion last night but his celebration did not last long as Robert Roode was quick to capitalize on the situation. But the night did not end there as R-Truth has the last laugh and also pinned Roode for the third title change of the night. The design of the title actually lacks a lot to be desired with a round design similar to the Tag Team titles, a green leather strap, gold main plate and a big 24/7 in green on the main plate.
The Cauliflower Alley Club awards banquet from this year is at the Gold Coast Hotel in Las Vegas featuring awards to such wrestlers as Kamala, Haku, The Barbarian, Dory Funk Jr., Mark Henry, Bambi, David Schults and others.
Starrcast has begun the refund process for the events Ric Flair was supposed to take part in this weekend. Conrad Thompson spoke to Sports Illustrated about the situation: “We exhausted all options and mutually decided that it would be best to postpone ‘The Roast of Ric Flair’ for a later date yet to be determined. Everyone who purchased a meet-and-greet with Ric will be refunded via EventBrite. We will work to make sure those are completed by the end of the week. The rest of the Horsemen and Ricky Steamboat, who had meet-and-greets with Ric, are still scheduled to appear. We will allow fans the chance to have their photo made against what looks like old TBS backdrop wearing an authentic Ric Flair robe, holding the original Big Gold Belt, and posing with the Horsemen.”
SCWPro tweeted that they’ve been told Flair’s appearance at their debut show in East Moline, Illinois on May 31 is still on: “We've been in constant contact w/ representatives for @RicFlairNatrBoy & we're happy to announce that we've been told his appearance at our debut event at the Rust Belt on May 31st is STILL ON!”
Beth Phoenix, Bruno Sammartino, Thunderbolt Patterson, Sgt. Slaughter, Brian Shields and Daniel Cormier will be inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, which will be held on July 25-27.
Former co-workers of the late Ashley Massaro have come together to start a GoFundMe campaign that will go towards a college savings plan for her daughter Lexi. Many of the women behind this campaign, calling themselves the Squared Circle Sisters, have recorded a 15-minute video as they give their thoughts about Ashley and some words of encouragement to her 19-year-old daughter. Lilian Garcia, Mickie James, Lita, Gail Kim, Brooke Adams, Maria Kanellis, Candice Michelle, Katarina Waters, Lisa Marie Varon, Christy Hemme, Trish Stratus, Torrie Wilson, and others all contributed to the video. The aim is to raise $100,000 for Lexi and Mick Foley, who lived close to Ashley, kickstarted the campaign with a donation of $5,000.. Seven days after being admitted to an Atlanta-area hospital, 16-time world champion Ric Flair was discharged and is now continuing his recovery at home. The Nature Boy underwent heart-related surgery on Monday morning and it was a complete success. Doctors felt it went so good that 48 hours after surgery, Naitch was wheeled out of the hospital and sent back home. The 70-year-old wrestling legend had been suffering from heart issues for the past several months and a medical complication on Friday meant that he had to wait for the weekend to pass to get under the knife again. "The Naitch is home," Flair tweeted. "Thank you to all the incredible staff and doctors at Gwinnett Medical Center once again! I am so thankful for all my family, friends, and fans for all the love. At this time in my life, I never take it for granted. I will be back up and WOOOOOing in no time!" Unfortunately for Flair, he is not allowed to travel to Las Vegas so his roast event on Friday at Starrcast was canceled, or better yet, postponed to a later date. Conrad Thompson, who runs Starrcast and is also his son-in-law, told Sports Illustrated that Flair always downplayed his health challenges and classified them as "routine" to his family but things changed when doctors discovered a complication on Thursday and that is preventing Flair from jumping on a plane to go to Vegas. Refunds are being issued to all those who purchased a ticket for The Roast of Ric Flair.
Gail Kim is going to auction off the gear she wore in her retirement match against Tessa Blanchard at Impact’s Rebellion PPV to raise money for Ashley Massaro’s daughter.

WWE has put up a December 4, 1983 show from the Omni in Atlanta on Hidden Gems, which includes Ted DiBiase vs. Buzz Sawyer and Ric Flair vs. Tommy Rich for the NWA title.
Mick Foley has added an incentive for those who donate a large sum of money to the college fund for Lexi Massaro, the daughter of the late Ashley Massaro. In two separate tweets, Foley said that anyone who donates $5,000, he would fly or drive anywhere in the United States or Canada to watch Raw, Smackdown, pay-per-view, or an AEW show with up to 10 friends. He insisted that this is not an auction, and anyone with a $5,000 donation would get it. When asked a bit later about the donation coming from outside North America, Foley said that for a $10,000 donation, he’d fly anywhere in the world and cover his own travel for the same deal. Last week, a group of former co-workers of Massaro, the Squared Circle Sisters, opened a GoFundMe campaign to help start a college savings plan for 19-year-old Lexi. The plan is to raise $100,000 and up to now, nearly $35,000 have been raised. To donate go to GoFundMe.com.
