Sheeva officially announced her retirement on her Facebook page on October 30th. She posted "I say this with a heavy heart, I am officially forced into a medical retirement from in ring work. I will be available for back stage and management. The injury to my knee has been too severe and required 2 full surgeries to repair plus cortisone shots for life. I will never be "normal" again. I'm honestly lucky and thankful for what I did have. Thank you for all your guy's support throughout this rough time. #sheeva #theendisjustthebeginning #newchanges".

WWE announced that WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will be taking on the WWE Champion A. J. Styles in a few weeks time at "Survivor Series". This match will be non-title and it’s a repeat from last year’s "Survivor Series" where Lesnar defeated Styles. Also announced was WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins wrestling the WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. Just like the Lesnar/Styles match, this will also be a non-title match. With these two matches, there are three so far on the card as WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch vs. WWE RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey in another non-title match was already announced for event.
Nolan Howell of SLAM! Wrestling wrote a story previewing the Son of Havoc-Killshot Mask v. Mask Match entitled "Lucha Underground: Son of Havoc looks for Killshot at Ultima Lucha Cuatro night one". To read the story here.
Jeff Jarrett lost a hair-versus-mask match to Dr. Wagner Jr. in Mexico City at the AAA Heroes Inmortales event on Sunday, and now has a bald head.
On Tuesday, Asistencia Asesoría y Administración & Facebook announced a new show called “Lucha Capital” that would be exclusive for Facebook Watch. The show started on Wednesday, October 31st and will be 8 weeks long, live every Wednesday until the final show on December 19th. The show will be filmed at the Pinche Gringo BBQ restaurant in Mexico City, Mexico. If you can’t watch the show live, it will be available for viewing later on the Lucha Capital Facebook page. The idea is to have a 24-person tournament with representatives from several groups including AAA, Impact, Lucha Underground, ELITE and MAD. There’s a bunch of rules & additional stuff that will be going into the tournament which seems to be something done for the live viewers on Facebook, but is very complicated when it really should be just about wins & losses followed by whoever winning advancing, but its a lucha libre tournament, so they’ve made it a little more complicated. The show will have Jose Manuel Guillen and Vampiro on commentary and La Griega will be hosting the show. The 24 participants announced are
-Representing AAA: Psycho Clown, La Hiedra, Lady Shani, Nino Hamburguesa, Pagano, Murder Clown, Mascarita Sagrada, Maximo, Hijo del Vikingo, and Vanilla
-Representing Lucha Libre Elite: Keyra, Lady Maravilla, Laredo Kid, Golden Magic, and Puma King
-Representing Impact Wrestling: Scarlett Bordeaux, Fenix, Pentagon, and Taya
-Representing Lucha Underground: Drago, Aerostar, and Texano, Jr.
-Representing MAD: Killer Kross, Australian Suicide, and Taurus
Oklafan congratulates Colby Black on the birth of his daughter Lillian on November 2nd.
Oklafan extends condolences to Ryan Foley on the passing of his uncle Pete.
Oklafan extends condolences to Coach Doggins on the passing of both his great aunt and grandmother.
Oklafan extends condolences to the family and friend of Kyng Benjamin, who passed away on October 30th from congestive heart failure. At this time, no details regarding his age are available. Benjamin, whose real name was Derryck Rucker, began his career in 2010 and was a regional star competing mostly in Kansas, but also in many surrounding states as well as venturing down to Texas and over to California. Along the way, he won several championships, especially with his partner Chris Wyco as The Midwest Marvels. Benjamin, then competing as K. C. Kyng, debuted in Oklahoma for SRPW on August 11, 2012, where he lost to Cody Burns. He would team with Luke Langley and lose to The Extreme Avengers (Jake O'Brien & Kid Krazy), in his only other SRPW appearance. He also competed once for WFC, where he lost to Spike Lopez. But most of his time in Oklahoma was spent competing for UWE in Tahlequah. He debuted there on January 25, 2013, where he was part of a 5-Way Match won by Justin Dynamic for an Any Time/Any Title contract. Kyng would spend several months trying to find his place in UWE, often competing in 6-Man Tag Team Matches and Triple Threat Tag Team Matches, but making little impression. Most embarrassingly, he lost to Clint Cassidy in 1 minute on April 20, 2013. Kyng returned to UWE on September 13th of that same year, now competing as Kyng Benjamin and teamed with Justin Dynamic. The duo, with Stevie Caballero at ringside, defeated Brett Stopp & X-Stat!k, but that did not start the momentum he hoped it would as he would lose to Jon Cross in a Gauntlet Challenge Match the next month and then be back to 6-Man Tag Team action with random partners in October, always on the losing side. Again, after taking time off, Benjamin returned on July 12, 2014 and teamed with Akuma Jones in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match against Tough Love (Maddox Jones & Spike Lopez) and Omega X (Brett Stopp & X-Static). While they did not win, this partnership became a solid one and together with Mr. Nasty (and later Ace Archuleta), this trio became known as The Brotherhood. Benjamin and Jones became UWE Tag Team Champions on September 20, 2014, defeating A. C. Slaughter (Aaron Anders & Clint Cassidy) for the titles in a Triple Threat match that also involved Omega X. Omega X and The Loaded Guns (Jon Cross & Brandon Walker) would be the most persistant challengers for the titles during The Brotherhood's title reign, which lasted until July 11, 2015, when they lost the titles to The Rising (Riker, Abel, & Dimitri Alexandrov) in a 4-Corners Tag Team Match that also involved The Loaded Guns and The Bash Brothers (Trey Cole & Ethan Cole). Benjamin only made 2 more appearances in Oklahoma after that. He was a participant in the Total Turmoil Match at UWE's "Showdown VI" on September 19, 2015, which was won by American Made and he and Akuma Jones lost a Handicap Match to Zakk Sinizter on November 21, 2015 which was his final Oklahoma appearance. He stopped wrestling when he relocated to Dallas, TX in September of 2014 but had spoken to several wrestlers about making a return in January 2019. The news of his death was very shocking to those of us in the Oklahoma community.
