JR's Blog: Ross Report Podcast Honors Bobby "The Brain" Heenan w/Okerlund, Schiavone & Hurricane Helms, Pre Order 'SLOBBERKNOCKER' today at @Amazon, @LaughBoston, Lesnar Retains?

Greetings everyone and thanks for stopping by our site. No burning daylight here...

Still shaken over the death of my long time friend and former broadcast partner Bobby Heenan this past Sunday after years of suffering and illness that drastically changed his life and affected many of us in a profound way.

Bobby Heenan was simply the best to ever combine the diverse skill sets of wrestling, managing, and broadcasting in the history of the pro wrestling game.

Arguably the most talented overall performer in the history of the biz was our beloved 'Wease.'

Bobby, please say hello wife Jan when you see her and tell her that I miss her every minute of the day. You always made she and I laugh and that's always our best medicine.

One of our favorite Ross Report podcasts is currently airing on www.podcastone.com, @ApplePodcasts, and here on the homepage of our site. Mean Gene Okerlund, Tony Schiavone and Hurricane Helms join me to talk about the late Bobby Heenan and much more.

Listen for FREE and subscribe for FREE at @ApplePodcasts.

Happy to hear that Ric Flair is on his way back to enjoying good health but his journey to such is still a work in progress. Natich is a resilient man and I have no doubts that he will kick out and resume his journey that we all enjoy following. No one that I ever saw in the ring did it better than Ric and he still has much to offer the biz and his fans.

Good luck to the ROH talents who will be 'dancing' on PPV this Friday night on the @FITE App. Looks like a strong, in ring wrestling show and I am especially curious to see how the main event plays out featuring ROH Champion Cody Rhodes vs the dangerous veteran Minoru Suzuki who hasn't wrestled in the USA in 25 years I'm told.

Big piece on SlobberKnocker: My Life in Wrestling being written by Justin Barrasso for Sports Illustrated that's due to be released next week. Our book will be released in October and yiu can score an autographed copy by visiting www.premiercollectibles.com and save when you order a copy of the book from www.amazon.com.

Excited to be a part of the first ever, www.chrisjerichocruise.com event in 2018 along with a ton of big time stars in what could end up being one of the great party cruises from Miami to Nassau. Love to see you there! The dates are October 27-31, 2018.

For fast, home delivery of JR's delicious products simply shop online at www.wweshop.com. Remember that JR's is also on the shelves of Ingles Markets 200+ wonderful stores throughout the southeast USA and a portion of every sale goes to www.teamheadlock.org.

Talking to my old pal, Alex Marvez this weekend for a Sporting News piece on our autobiography.

Love the idea of WWE bringing back the Starrcade theme for a live event coming to Greensboro, N.C. in November. What point did I apparently miss that has actually made this booking somewhat controversial? Broadcasting Starrcade was a personal thrill for me back in the day.

Happy to see WWE's Paige back in the Performance Center getting ready to make her return to the ring on the main roster. The talented, young Brit has too much talent to not be fully invested in the @WWE which can feature her skills better than any promotion on the planet. Plus, earn Paige the most cash.

Don't forget that we will bring our RINGSIDE Show to Boston on Saturday Afternoon December 16 to @LaughBoston on the weekend when WWE will bring Clash of the Champions to Bean Town. Tickets for our big event that wil feature @JeremyBorash as our MC and tag team partner are available now, both VIP Meet/Greet/Photos tickets and general admission tickets are available at www.laughboston.com.

We are on Facebook and Instagram at JimRossBBQ.

Anxious to catch WWE No Mercy this Sunday on the WWE Network. Leaning on a Lesnar retraining scenario versus Strowman which would set up what seemingly is the enviable Universal Title match between Lesnar and Roman Reigns farther down the road.

Chris Jericho joins me this Monday night to record the Ross Report for the first time. Questions? Use #AskJimRoss on Twitter or submit to Facebook and/or Instragram.

Remember to catch Josh Barnett and me every Friday night on AXSTV fo NJPW and our ongoing coverage of the G1 tournament.

Q&A's are updated elsewhere here on the site.

Maximize life's minutes and know that we appreciate all that you do in support of our many projects!

Boomer Sooner!
