On a recent episode of his podcast "Something to Wrestle With", Bruce Prichard commented on the first time WWE tried to run a lesbian angle. He said “Vince actually got cold feet. We started it, and we started it with Marlena coming onto Sable. The idea behind that was the whole package that Goldust package of Goldust and Marlena — this androgynous couple. Both of them probably swing in and every way. So it was started that way and Vince got cold feet. I don’t know if it was pressure from USA or if he just felt watching it that it was uncomfortable going there for whatever reason. But we had planned on going full-hilt. If Vince McMahon hadn’t gotten “cold feet” then we might have a very different kind of highlight package to watch from the Attitude Era days. We can’t imagine it would ever get a collection on the WWE Network though. But that was the Attitude Era for you."

A. J. Styles, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn made cameo appearances on the latest episode of The Young Bucks' "Being the Elite" YouTube series.

During a recent appearance on XPac’s 12360 podcast, Drew McIntyre shared a funny story about how he rushed backstage after Jinder won the title so that he could bust out the 3MB air guitar for the new champion. “I was there that night in Chicago. The pre-show for NXT the night before, I stayed for the PPV the next day. I didn’t want to know the results, and I told both of them [Jinder Mahal] and Randy [Orton] don’t tell me, I’ll watch from the crowd. And when he won, most of the NXT roster were heading to the bus, and I sprinted off like the Ultimate Warrior, straight to ‘gorilla.’ I was right there waiting for him and I busting a 3MB air guitar.”

Arjan Singh Bhullar, the Canadian MMA fighter of Indian descent, announced on his Instagram last week that WWE Champion Jinder Mahal will be accompanying him to the Octagon for his debut fight in the UFC in September. “I was able to watch The Maharaja do his thing in Vancouver and now I'm excited to announce WWE champ Jinder Mahal will be taking time away from his busy schedule to accompany the team for my debut fight in his home province of Alberta,” Bhullar wrote. “Shout out to the boss Dana White for hooking up the VIP treatment.” Bhullar will be fighting Luis Henrique in the Fight Pass card at UFC 215 which will take place at the Rogers Place in Edmonton. This will be the first time that a WWE Superstar will be accompanying a UFC fighter at a UFC event. CM Punk tried to accompany Chael Sonnen to a UFC event in Chicago once but Vince McMahon did not approve and the idea was scrapped.

GFW’s Jeff Jarrett is teasing big news for Germany to be announced soon. He tweeted the following last week: "Super exciting news coming for our fans in Germany very soon!! @IMPACTWRESTLING @GFWWrestling".

The "GFW Amped Anthology" series began tonight as a "One Night Only" pay-per-view. The four-part series will feature the "GFW Amped" tapings from 2015. Part 1 will feature stars such as Bobby Roode, Mickie James, Chris Adonis, Brian Myers, Sonjay Dutt, The Bollywood Boys, Kushida, Nick Aldis, P. J. Black, Sanada, Kongo Kong, and others. MMA star Chael Sonnen and international announcer Cyrus Fees will be calling the action.

Ric Flair is currently in hospital after his family admitted him due to heart-related problems reports ProWrestlingSheet.com. He was placed in a medically induced coma and had surgery. At last report he was out of surgery but the situation is still extremely serious. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.

Gavin Dixon suffered a concussion at the conclusion of his match against Jack Gamble on Saturday at ComPro. He is expected to be out of action for 2 to 3 weeks. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.
