Good day to all and thanks for stopping by our site. The Q&A's here on the site are updated and you can also listen to the most current Ross Report Podcast on the home page with one, simple click. Thanks and please consider bookmarking our site.

Really enjoyed catching up with the former manager of the Road Warriors and current manager for NXT's Authors of Pain duo, @WWE Hall of Famer Precious Paul Ellering on this week;s new, Ross Report. Paul is one of the most astute and well spoken guests that we've been privileged to have our our show and I'm sure that you will enjoy this week's Slobber Knocker audio. Download it for free at www.podcastone.com, @ApplePodcasts and here on our homepage. Great old school stories, advice, and what today's talents need to be aware of they want to be successful in the wrestling biz.

RAW Ramblings...enjoyed the two main event bouts including Reigns vs Rollins and the 3 Way between Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, and Bray Wyatt which all seemed to deliver as expected Monday night. These five will seemingly be counted on to deliver a strong, show closing presentation on Sunday night on the WWE Network during Extreme Rules from Baltimore.

As I said on this week's Ross Report Podcast, I see @FinnBalor winning the main event Sunday at Extreme Rules which earns him a title bout with Brock Lesnar. Good luck on that one, Lad.

I applaud having clean winners whenever possible as that outcome seems to resonate more with today's audiences rather than most tepidly executed non finishes such as disqualifications and count outs. Just my two cents.

If any talent has issues with losing then I'd have the same issues with them winning...a Leroy McGuirk theory that I learned in the 70's. Great in ring performers should know how to win, lose, and how to arrive at a no decision efficiently and if heir skill sets aren't conducive for such then Its back to practice.

I will review Extreme Rules next week on the Ross Report with the Fight Network and Live Audio Wrestling's John Pollock. John is one of our more popular guests.

SDLIve saw the five women who were featured arguably 'steal the show' Tuesday night in Atlanta. The SDLIve women especially seems to relish in raising the athletic bar and to continue to break barriers previously set by their predecessors. From the cold open where we heard sound bytes from the participants which made the match have more clout and importance, this was a memorable night for SDLIve's women. The creative felt right and the women including Charlotte, Nattie, Carmella, Becky Lynch, and Tamina all carried their share of the water in successfully building to the first ever MITB Women's match in St Louis at the Money in the Bank event

It's arguable that the women of SDLIve are seemingly taking more advantage of maximizing their minutes in the ring and on TV in general. The risk/reward ratio is arguably never been higher for any female athlete in WWE to date with the booking of the MITB Match. Obviously these women will do all that they can to deliver a memorable outing at MITB which likely concerns some fans as it should.

AJ Styles losing in ATL, his home market, was a bit of a surprise but not totally shocking. Other than seemingly taking the air out of the live audience a bit I see no issues with this outcome and for those who complain about the overall genre generally being too precipitable, this outcome should have been acceptable to some degree. I thought the two had an enjoyable bout.

From what I hear WWE is pulling out all the stops for their upcoming July, Women's Tournament that will feature the best, independent female wrestlers in the world. I hope to be involved in this presentation and that matter will hopefully be finalized soon.

Enjoyed how SDLIve kicked off with featuring of Shinsuke Nakamura who had one of his better outings to date on TV IMO thanks in a large part to how Baron Corbin, who gets better each week. and the talented Kevin Owens did their work. Nakamura showed flashes of his offensive brilliance with is spot on strikes which are a huge part of Shinsuke's in ring presentation.

Exited to return to the @DCImprov on Thursday night August 10 at 8 pm for the RINGSIDE with Jim Ross Show that will be MC'ed by DC radio personality @ChadDukes. VIP and GA tickets are available at www.dcimprov.com while they last. Go VIP and enjoy the preshow meet/greet/photo op.

Check out AXSTV this Friday night for the much ballyhooed Okada vs Suzuki one on one bout that was as physically compelling as one would imagine. NJPW is on AXSTV Friday nights at 8/7 pm CT and it can be found, among other places, at channel 340 on DirecTV.

You're invited to grill with JR's delicious products from www.wweshop.com and in the U.K. and Europe at www.americansoda.co.uk for fast, home delivery.

Thanks for dropping by and I hope that you will return soon for another visit. Now, go out and maximize life's minutes.
