Good to see you back visiting our site and I hope that you won't be a stranger. Loved talking to @TrishStratusCom on the current Ross Report Podcast that you can easily listen to here on the homepage, www.podcastone.com, and iTunes. My convo this week on a new show is with @WWE HOFER @RealMickFoley and as always a new show will drop on Tuesday night at 9 pm ET/6 PM PT and if you subscribe for free at iTunes they will automatically download a new show into the device of your choosing. I appreciate your support!

My @Steelers did not make it to the Super Bowl as winning at New England proved to be too daunting for the Pittsburghers. My old broadcast team, the Atlanta Falcons, will be our choice to win the SB in Houston of which we are attending. I broadcast the first game ever in the Georgia Dome in 1992 and it closed 25 years later Sunday after the win over the Packers.

We will be making a major announcement this week on the Ross Report about my next broadcast assignment with which I am exited to be involved. Hint: it's in the U.K.

Big weekend for yours truly in San Antonio as I will be appearing Friday night for River City Wrestling at the Turner Club in Kirby,Texas along with a host of top talents on a major Indy show. For info, visit www.rivercitywrestling.net.

I will be appearing on MyTV/SportsRadio 790AM simulcast this Saturday morning in San Antonio from 9-11 am. If you are in the area please tune it.

On Sunday before the WWE Royal Rumble we will present RINGSIDE w/ Jim Ross at the Improv at River Center with the VIP function starting at noon while the doors open for the general admission ticket holders opening at 2 pm. This show will be over by 4 pm giving all plenty of time for the easy travel to the Alamo Dome which is nearby. For tickets in advance please visit www.rivercitycomedyclub.com. General admission tickets are only $25 and we have some VIP tickets left at this time as well. Tickers will also be available at the venue on Sunday.

Congrats to @Spike on producing a solid, MMA snow Saturday night headlined by the Chael Sonnen vs Tito Ortiz fight that Ortiz won via tapout. The fight itself delivered more sizzle than steak but it was entertaining for the most part. The entrances, graphics and music were all improved facets to the presentation plus @SeanGrandePBP did a solid job handling the play by play. Viacom is doing a good job developing their brand.

Huge opportunity to get folks more interested and motivated to watch the Royal Rumble this Sunday tonight on RAW. This is the 'go home' show for the WWE flagship broadcast and with both Lesnar and Goldberg both on the show one and has to wonder how their storyline will be enhanced before Sunday's Rumble in the River City.

No need for Goldberg and Lesnar to 'touch' tonight on RAW but they have to add another log onto the fire to the rivalry that will likely be the main event of Wrestlemania.

This Rumble event is one of the best booked WWE events in a good while in my opinion. There should be some outstanding developments occurring Sunday night to continue to build and forward the planned, Wrestlemania storylines. There are really no reasons why this event Sunday should not be a strong night of pro wrestling entertainment. Hopefully the talents will be of a an "I'm stealing the show" mindset.

Goldberg is the 2-1 betting favorite as of today via the bookmakers who actually take bets on pro wrestling events.

Mick Foley on the Ross Report this week talks about wrestling veteran Ron Starr's new book, 'Holy Foley' returning this week to the WWE Network, Mick's role on RAW and much more.

Making stars in wrestling in today's marketplace can be done via winning consistently and not by wining one, losing one, etc. Talents getting "on a roll' is a simple concept that all fans can relate to and the much maligned, 50-50 booking concept simply won't work no matter what any proponent of that philosophy may say. Trust me.

Remember that you can watch ROH every Monday night for FREE on the FITE App. The App is free as is a ton of pro wresting content on the FITE TV App.

Any one else wonder if 'Total Divas" actually helps develop WWE talent's TV personas? I recently watched multiple episodes of the scripted, reality show on the E network and the question crossed my mind. Just asking....but it should build the WWE's talents and make them bigger stars. Perhaps that is being done.

Working on a potential guest list for our two, RINGSIDE with Jim Ross Shows in Orlando during Wrestlemania weekend at Plaza Live. Tickets are available for both shows including VIP meet/greet/photo Op/autographs/etc and the $25 General Admission tickets at www.ticketfly.com

The TV ratings for our NJPW bouts on @AXSTV are at an all time high which pleases Josh Barnett and me to no end. We work damn hard on those shows are and are proud to be affiliated with @NJPWGlobal. This Friday night is week three of four weeks of Wrestle Kingdom 11 content at 8/7 pm CT. It's great that the folks at AXSTV allow us to focus on the matches and do not saddle us down with info that has little or nothing to do with the video that the viewers are seeing.
