More additions to the WWE 2K17 roster were revealed last Tuesday, with Ric Flair, Brock Lesnar, Samoa Joe, American Alpha (Jason Jordan & Chad Gable), Sami Zayn, Sasha Banks, Razor Ramon, The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder), and others officially announced for for the game. In a recent interview on "Busted Open", Cody Rhodes explained that his father, Dusty Rhodes, wanted him to leave WWE after WrestleMania 28. He said “I know he would have supported it because he told me to ask for my release after WrestleMania 28, I waited until WrestleMania 32 to take his advice. At 28, I recalled particularly, he was unhappy with the direction things were going with me and Big Show, and he just thought that I was so close to the keys to the kingdom, and they were slipping away, that maybe leaving would wake them to the idea that this is somebody who wanted to captain your ship and the way you guys are treating him has pushed him out.”

Canadian Wrestling's Elite is putting together a fan fest on Saturday, February 18th in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada at Holy Cross Gymnasium Hall. Announced wrestling guests so far include Paul Orndorff and Howard Finkel, as well as CFL players from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers like Troy Westwood will be there too.

Soon after WWE announced the passing of Mr. Fuji, he was trending on Twitter with many in the business remembering him with tributes. Smash of Demolition tweeted “Mr Fuji was a great manager and a great friend. He will be missed big time.” Jim Ross, said that Fuji was a bump machine, funny man, and one of the great ribbers of all time while Gerald Brisco remembered the Fuji as a true legend and a friend to many, also agreeing with Jim Ross’ statement by describing him the “king of ribbers.”
