NEWS
In a shocking announcement on Wednesday, IZW announced they were shutting down for good. They posted on Facebook "Effective Immediately, IZW is officially shutting down. Thank you ALL for the 12 years of support!"

With no place left on either of the RAW or SmackDown commentary teams, two WWE Hall of Famers were left hanging. Jerry “The King” Lawler lost his SmackDown color commentary job while Booker T has been off commentary for a while. Both WWE legends will retain their WWE jobs however as WWE.com announced that the two will be having recurring roles on Pre and Kickoff shows as key analysts with other names still to be announced. The "WWE Superstars" and "WWE Main Event" shows will both be anchored by Tom Phillips and Corey Graves will be joining him for Superstars while David Otunga will be his Main Event partner. Another WWE Superstar who was not drafted even though he was part of the list is Social Outcast member Heath Slater.

The Q&A featuring Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA originally scheduled for July 30th has been rescheduled for December 17th.

PWInsider.com is reporting that Abdullah the Butcher has officially closed his restaurant, "Abdullah The Butcher's House of Ribs and Chinese Food." The restaurant, which first opened in the early 1990s in Atlanta, GA contained not only many mementos from Abdullah's legendary career, but also a lot of wrestling photographs as well. The website reports that those who attended the restaurant noted that whenever Abdullah himself was there, he was always happy to take photos with fans and sign autographs. The restaurant itself was run for many years by Abdullah's wife and son.

Several former wrestlers are suing WWE over head injuries sustained while wrestling for the company. Among those on the list are Road Warrior Animal, Jimmy Snuka, Paul Orndorff, Chavo Guerrero, Kamala, King Kong Bundy, Ken Patera, Barry Darsow, Bill Eadie (AKA Ax of Demolition), John Nord, Tracy Smothers, Black Bart, One Man Gang, Jesse Barr, Butch Reed, Shane Douglas, Angelo Mosca, Rod Price, Rodney Mack, and Ron Bass.
