Kamala will be making his debut in IWA Mid-South June 16th after his strong showing in the fan started thread on the message board about which legend they wanted to see next after seeing Honky Tonk Man and Demolition Ax in Shelbyville, IL. Mitch Ryder was quick to tell Ian Rotten that he wanted to be the one to take on all the WWE legends that are brought in and Kamala would be no exception. Will Mitch Ryder be able to pull off the upset or will he be destroyed by the Ugandan beast? Ian Rotten also announced that Kamala will indeed sing in Joliet since it was requested by so many of their fans!

At a TNA press conference in downtown Nashville to celebrate the "Slammiverary" pay-per-view event at the Municipal Auditorium on June 17, an altercation between former NFL all-pro tight end Frank Wycheck and the "Tennessee Cowboy" James Storm disrupted events. Wycheck, with the help of Jeff Jarrett, delivered a guitar shot to Storm after the "Tennessee Cowboy" spat beer in the former Tennesee Titan's face. Details are forthcoming, but Wycheck has agreed in principle to a match with Storm at "Slammiversary."

There are reports that Jeff Jarrett and TNA president Dixie Carter are scheduled to be in Los Angeles next week for television contract negotiations. The network in question has not been identified. TNA's contract with Spike TV expires this fall.

Although this hardly comes as a surprise, Jim Cornette and Ring of Honor officially parted ways this past week due to Cornette's status as a TNA performer. The two sides left things on good terms. Cornette worked off and on for ROH from 2004 through earlier this year. Some of the highlights of his ROH run included Cornette working his first-ever in-ring confrontation with , a stint as ROH Commissioner, briefly managing The Briscoe Brothers, taking part in the first-ever Midnight Express reunion, feuding with Homicide, having a great debate with CZW's John Zandig during the ROH vs. CZW feud, and hosting some of ROH's Straight Shootin' DVD series.

The following DVDs are on Billboard's Top 10 Recreational Sports chart for the week ending June 9th. "Ric Flair & The Four Horsemen" is in first place, "Royal Rumble 2007" in fifth, "The New And Improved DX" in sixth, and "No Way Out 2007" in tenth place. This is one of the weakest weeks for WWE DVDs since they usually dominate the charts but three UFC titles managed to take some of WWE's share.

World Wrestling Council's Victor Jovica recently promoted a successful monster trunk event which featured WWE hall of famer Jerry "The King" Lawler.

The BallparkBrawl.com splash screen shows that Samoa Joe will defend his Natural Heavyweight Title on August 23rd against an opponent yet to be decided. Sandy Barr, a wrestler, promoter, and manager in Oregon wrestling, passed away Saturday night from a heart attack. Following in their father's footsteps, Barr's sons Jesse (AKA Jimmy Jack Funk) and Art (AKA The Juicer) also became professional wrestlers. Oklafan would like to extend its sympathies to the friends and family of Sandy Barr.

Reilly, who is probably best known as a long time panelist on the hit game show "Match Game", also appeared in the wrestling movie "Body Slam" with Roddy Piper, The Tonga Kid, and Dirk Benedict of "Battlestar Gallactica" and "The A-Team" fame.
