JR's Blog: Big News on RINGSIDE with Jim Ross Show WrestleMania Weekend, Ross Report Podcast Features ROH & Kevin Kelly Tuesday 9 pm ET, High Pressure RAW Tonight, JR's Tees at prosrestlingtees.com/JimRoss

Hello to all and to those battling nasty weather remember that Mother Nature never does the honors. Be safe and don't worry about what you can't control. Lots of big news to get to so... let's grill....

We are rapidly working to closing a deal to bring our 'RINGSIDE w/ Jim Ross' show to San Jose the weekend of WrestleMania. I've received many tweets an emails from fans about the show that we were blessed to be so successful with last year in NOLA when we did two shows on the Thursday night of 'Mania week. We hope to have all the info regarding day/time/tickets/on sale date, etc this week. We are looking at likely doing our show Saturday afternoon as to not conflict with the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. This are moving fast and you're getting this info even before we book our hotel for the stay. I may have to try and pull an 'Owen Hart' who used to actually, occasionally stay with fans while on the road.

So, keep us in mind for one show only on Saturday afternoon March 28 and as soon as all the details are in order we will let everyone know. I hope to see you there if you're coming to the WM31 festivities. We will be offering a general admission ticket and a VIP Meet & Greet Ticket for this show.

On the podcast from we had a great weekend raising to #3 in the iTunes sports rankings as fans seemed to enjoy the Adam Cole conversation. Adam is mature beyond his years and seemingly has a bright future within the business. If the evils of the business, that face every talent in one form or another, can be avoided, then Adam has much to contribute to the business even after his in ring days have concluded. I could easily see him developing multiple skills which always helps one stay a little longer as that philosophy was shared with me years ago and worked well for me for 40+ years.

This Tuesday night at 9 ET another new, Ross Report Podcast drops on podcastone.com & iTunes featuring the voice of ROH Wrestling who will talk about how he got into the business, his audition at WWE that I helped conduct, his days working on RAW, his skits with the Rock and his long tenure now in ROH. We also address ROH's 13th annual PPV coming to Las Vegas at the Orleans Hotel on Sunday March 1. You will also hear us talk announcing philosophy so if you are interested in that aspect of the wrestling biz then I think that you will especially enjoy that portion of the show.

I'd love to se more of you subscribe to the Ross Report on iTunes a it cost zero and you will never miss a show and your shows download the most that they are released on Tuesday evenings. Subscribing is FREE and comes with no obligation but by you subscribing it helps us a great deal. We are grateful to all that have subscribed and to all those who listen to our show every week.

Looking for a hot Monday Night Raw tonight from Orlando which is the last RAW prior to this Sunday's Fast Lane PPV in Orlando. This PPV it is imperative that WWE have a hot show to lead fans to March and, of course, WrestleMania. For WWE, WrestleMania season is like the holidays are to retailers as it relates to their customers spending money. Sunday should feature a show that asks compelling questions with multiple albeit unprovided answers. I'd hope that WWE might position @HeymanHustle prominently in plausible, potential storylines such as Heyman making overtures to Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins.

Sources are saying that it looks more promising that Brock Lesnar could well stay with WWE past WrestleMania due to concerns over long term health affects of competing in MMA specifically concussion oriented issues later in one's life. gain, these are 'sources' and how reliable they are can only be judged after WM31 and following the status of the former UFC Heavyweight Champion. One thing is certain, if UFC believes, and rightfully so in my view, that CM Punk will sell PPV's for at least his first two fights then what would a healthy Brock Lesnar mean to the UFC brand in a time where no combat sport company has a plethora of bona fide star power that can move the needle on the pay per view business.

It's things like this that also make the genre interesting to follow and to not try and not over think the process.

Getting lots of questions here and tweets regarding my thoughts on the Cena vs Rusev match at Fast Lance for the formerly coveted United States Title. In the big picture, Cena doesn't need the US Title to be the super star hat he is but Cena successfully winning and defending the US Title would certainly put a shine on the somewhat tarnished title. On the other hand, Rusev is far from where he will eventually be if he continues to evolve and develop his personation with Lana and an undefeated Rusev intrigues me. When Rusev is pinned or submitted it needs to mean something, be featured and have a great back story. So, with all that said, I'd consider having Rusev cheat to win in Memphis and have Cena win at 'Mania OR be bold enough to have the burly villain retain at WM31 and build the rivalry until Summer Slam where Cena wins after his chase which in itself makes the US Title have more equity.

As we've said many times here before and on the Ross Report Podcast, there are more than one right way to get something done in a positive manner in the squared circle.

Something tells me that there will be a great deal of discussion and debate about the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame Class when it is all said and done. Is that any different than any other year? Likely not but the focus of this year is obviously and clearly Randy Savage's induction plus the induction of Arnold Schwarzenegger. My guess is that HHH inducts the former Governor of California. Curious to who else will be inducted and I'm pulling for the late Ray Stevens to make the cut.

Watching more Lucha Underground and it continues to remind me of when TBS did wrestling at Center Stage on West Peachtree in Atlanta. I loved that venue and the overall gig as living in Atlanta was a blast and I lived only about 15 minutes away from the building. Lucha smartly shoots their small but enthusiastic crowd which is comparable on how WWE shoots NXT. It's essentially a plus sized TV studio with few more whistles and bells. It can create a unique atmosphere and fun live event experience.

Finally saw where Destination America and TNA put out a somewhat under whelming press release about how well TNA was doing building their audience on the new network for wrestling that airs on the most challenging night of the week for TV, Fridays. Congrats to TNA on growing the audience as consistently as are and one would hope that this time next year as the time that they will be back up to over 1M viewers per week.

In a few weeks I will produce a Ross Report with TNA's Bobby Roode who I think is a helluva hand BTW and could be a main event level talent in any company. Bobby, from Ontario, Canada, is so fundamentally sound and exhibits excellent in ring psychology.

Next week the entertaining and intelligent Hurricane Helms joins me on the Ross Report Podcast for which could prove to be an insightful and entertaining review of WWE Lane. We will record it the day after the PPV and it will drop on Tuesday February 24.

Also next week I will talk with Shawn Michaels about his life, his new book, and more for a future podcast.

Let's hope that Dusty Rhodes has a more significant role tonight on RAW than did Eddie Murphy on the SNL40 broadcast. I'd love for Dream cut loose with one of his vintage, classic promos as he addresses the two fruits of his loins. You are going to notice how much weight Dusty has dropped over the past several months. He looks healthier than he has in years.

Q&A's here are updated.
