The Honky Tonk Man posted on Twitter "HTM now booking Comedy Club dates. Frist event Chuckles Comedy Club Corpus Cristi, TX Oct. 22. Somebody Is Going To Feel This"

Vader posted on Twitter "Oct 12 2014 Zaneville Ohio 3pm st BIG VAN VADER @itsvadertime Secrest Auditorium"

Jim Ross posted on Twitter ?@WWECesaro is ONE, big angle away from his launch to main events. Arguably most under utilized on the @wwe roster. #AskJR?

Jim Ross was recently interviewed by Brian Fritz of The Sporting News and expressed interest in working commentary for New Japan Pro Wrestling. He said ?I?m very interested in doing special projects and that certainly would be on that list of a special project. And I think if they were serious about their marketing of their pay-per-views ? and I guess their big show is January 4th ? that if they were really serious about that event being a hit in the English-speaking countries, that I might be able to help them. I think their style is right down my alley. They?re physical, they?re intense, their wrestling is logical and I am a fan of it. But I wouldn?t want to do it in a TV studio somewhere and doing it as a voiceover. If I did it, I?d want to be in Tokyo.? To read the entire story, click here.

Jim Ross recently spoke with Michael Stets of MMAMania.com to promote his return to commentary for the Battleground MMA event last weekend. He commented on missing the pro wrestling business and his time with WWE. He said ?I do miss the wrestling business because I was there for 40 years. I miss aspects of it. I miss the locker room atmosphere. I miss being on the day of the big event, the adrenaline rush that you get that you can?t replicate anywhere else. But, do I miss a 51-week-a-year job on the road, travel, international, domestic and all that? Not a bit. I don?t know if that is a good answer, but that is the best answer I can give you. That is a true answer. My legacy there is what it is. That is up to the eye of the beholder, like anything else. I?m proud of what I did. I?m proud that I had the same job and the same career for 40 years. That is kind of unheard of in today?s world: a 40-year run. I?m very proud of where I?ve been. Whatever worked out at WWE worked out for the best reason. I refuse to look at it as a bad experience because I can?t go back in time and correct it. The one thing I can correct is today and I know that I lost so many friends at a such a young age over the years that tomorrows are not guaranteed. So that is kind of my philosophy, man. I live for today, enjoy it, treat people fairly and try to do things I enjoy doing and hope I get to do it tomorrow. As I?ve been told, I just want to wake up on the right side of the dirt every day.? You can read the entire story by clicking here.

Malice suffered a broken nose and a concussion in the Fatal 4 Way Tag Team Match at the ComPro show Saturday night in Tulsa. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.

Ron Starr recently suffered a heart attack and a stroke. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.

Oklafan congratulates Matt Majestic on his marriage to his fianc?e Megan on Sunday.

Oklafan extends condolences to the family and friends of Ricki Starr, who passed away on September 20th at the age of 83. Starr, whose real name was Bernard Herman, had a legitimate ballet background and even though he began competing in a less-enlightened period of the 1950s, he still was a crowd favorite while portraying a character with serious gay overtones. Starr was also a serious athlete, winning 17 amateur boxing titles before entering professional wrestling. Starr was a huge star for wrestling on television in the 1950s in America and the 1960s & 1970s in Europe, even inspiring a young drummer by the name of Richard Starkey, Jr. to change his name to Ringo Starr when he joined The Beatles. Starr was the very first documented TSW Oklahoma Champion, winning that title April 30, 1955, although no information is available about who he beat or how long he was champion. Starr competed in 8 documented matches in Oklahoma. The earliest was April 11, 1955, where he defeated Dutch Schultz in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match, winning the final fall by DQ. There are no further documented Oklahoma appearances until February 11, 1973, which began a short stay in Oklahoma that ended April 16, 1973 when he defeated NWA World Junior Heayweight Champion Danny Hodge in a non-title match.

WWE posted the following on the passing of Ricki Starr, ?WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of Ricki Starr, 83, a talented grappler most famous for his balletic moves in the ring and his nearly unbeaten streak in British wrestling promotions during the 1960s and 1970s. Our deepest condolences go out to Starr?s family, friends and fans.?

Steve Johnson of SLAM! Wrestling wote about Ricki Starr's passing the story "With ballet slippers, a Starr was born" which you can ready by clicking here.
