NEWS
Guy Atticus was one of the Rosebuds at the "WWE Monday Night RAW" live telecast in Austin, TX.

The WWE crew traveled to Australia Wednesday for a three day tour. WWE held one show at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne and followed that with one at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, then finally one in Perth at the Perth Arena. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena was not on the tour due to filming commitments and the top draws this time around were Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, and Chris Jericho. Sixteen time World Champion Ric Flair was also added to the tour after Cena had to drop out.

The new title for WWE?s upcoming DVD on Sting is now just ?The Best of Sting.? It will be released on DVD and Blu-ray next month. You can view the new cover photo, courtesy of WrestlingDVDNews.com, by clicking here.

Sting will be making a rare appearance in New York City on November 8th at The Big Event at the LaGuardia Plaza Hotel in West Elmhurst.

Jim Ross taped a podcast with Cowboy Bill Watts Monday night. Not sure of air date. His second show with Sting was released last Tuesday. Bully Ray will be the guest on Ross' podcast that will be released tonight.

Jim Ross posted on Twitter "Congrats to @IMPACTWRESTLING for another improved night of TV from NYC. Just keep wrestling & lessen long promos...you don't need em."

JBL mentioned on RAW last night that the Rusev vs. Jack Swagger Flag Match at WWE "SummerSlam" could end in submission but WWE.com?s preview for the match notes that the winner will have to capture his opponent?s flag. However, a source in WWE notes that the plan may be for whoever gets the pin or submission to have their National Anthem play. It?s likely that they have not made up their mind on the rules yet.

WWE announced the release of Alberto Del Rio due to unprofessional conduct and an altercation with an employee. He is the nephew of Mil Mascaras. There are rumors that Del Rio was involved in a backstage incident at the recent WWE TV tapings. RF claimed that Del Rio had words with an employee who works for WWE?s social media department and allegedly slapped him. This should be taken as strictly rumor for now. It is worth noting that Del Rio?s release is the top story on the front page of WWE?s website right now. Usually when WWE announces talent departures they use their real name but Del Rio?s real name was not used in today?s announcement. The announcement also did not "wish him the best in his future endeavors". If Del Rio really is gone from the company, his last match would have been a loss to Jack Swagger on last week?s Main Event. He did not work the SmackDown taping and did not work last week's live event in Melbourne, Australia. Prior to his release, it was recently reported that Del Rio?s WWE contract was expiring soon.

TNA has cancelled its house shows in Enid, OK and Salina, KS which were both scheduled for the end of September. TNA apparently contaced local outlets in the Enid area, citing an "unforseen scheduling conflict." Several other TNA live events have apparently been cancelled as well.

Mick Foley recently tweeted a fan who wanted to get a tattoo of an infamous photo of Foley bleeding after a brutal match. Foley later wrote the following on Facebook ?A quick message for the guy who wants to get this image permanently tattooed on his body: don?t do it, brother! Think of the bigger picture. Think long-term. Unless you?re happily married right now, and your wife is completely cool with you getting a photo of me bleeding ? stop and think about your future! What if you meet the girl of your dreams, and when it comes time to get nice with her for the first time, you have to explain this image to her? Maybe she will be completely into it ? and that case, you have got yourself a keeper. But more likely, putting this image permanently on your body will eventually lead you to feel like Jacob Marley in ?A Christmas Carol? ? doomed to carry the chains you forged in life for eternity. Doomed!?

Mick Foley is lending his voice to the movie "Hellevator Man: The Future Executive" which stars James Duval, Andy MacKenzie, and Cortney Palm. Foley will be the voice of The Hellevator Man.

SLAM! Wrestling has posted an excerpt from Don Fargo's forthcoming book which you can read by clicking here.

He was found unresponsive in his home Monday and rushed to a hospital, but never regained consciousness. No age was given at the time of his death. Lucas had 13 documented matches in Oklahoma. The majority of them take place in late 1964 beginning on November 2nd where he lost to Danny Hodge in a tournament match for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title in Tulsa.
