NEWS
TNA recently received their new TNA Heavyweight Championship and Tag Team Championship title belts. The change from the NWA championships happened Sunday. They've also ordered a new X-Division championship belt as well. It's most likely the company will just drop the use of the NWA names and send their titleholders out with new belts. The National Wrestling Alliance is planning a tournament that will be spread out over several events this summer, culminating in August or September. The most prominent talk has been that Bryan Danielson would end up with the NWA World Title with names like Brent Albright and Claudio Castagnoli also bandied about of late. One immediate positive to the change is that TNA would now be able to license replicas of their World championship belts to be sold at retail, something WWE makes a ton of money on. The deal with the NWA prevented that.

During an interview with Live Audio Wrestling, former WWE World Champion Brock Lesnar said that Jim Cornette, who he worked with in Ohio Valley Wrestling, was a loose cannon. Lesnar said that Cornette had an eye for talent, but was difficult to work with.

Dusty Rhodes pushed for Randy Orton to be moved over to ECW because Rhodes always liked his father, Bob Orton.

WWE will release "Triumph & Tragedy of World Class Wrestling" on DVD on September 18th.

WWE Madison Square Garden Classics on the MSG network returns this coming Wednesday, May the 16th with two back-to-back episodes. The first episode will air at 8pm est with an advertised main event of Roddy Piper vs. Ric Flair from 1991. The second episode will air directly after the first at 9pm est with an advertised main event of The Machines vs. King Kong Bundy, Bobby Heenan and John Studd from 1986.

Beth Phoenix has opened her official BethPhoenixGlamazon.com website.

The legendary Ozzy Osbourne will be performing his first single of his new album - and the theme song for Judgment Day - called "I Don't Wanna Stop" this coming week on "WWE Smackdown!" in Baltimore, MD. Osbourne is a big WWE fan and even accompanied fellow Brits, The British Bulldogs (Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith), at WrestleMania 2 in 1986. In an interview with [http://www.wwe.com]WWE.com{/url], Osbourne said that he was a very good friend of the WWE Hall of Famer, the late great Andre The Giant and used to go drinking with him. "He was such a lovely man," he said of Andre.

WWE tries to encourage potential talent that come from wrestling families to seek out Harley Race for training. Ted DiBiase's son followed this advice, and Ted Dibiase Jr. is receiving good reviews from his Pro Wrestling NOAH tour.

Jody Hamilton's Deep South promotion may not be dead. There are rumblings that Hamilton has secured a financial backer.

Ray Gordy, son of legendary Fabulous Freebird Terry Gordy, and Drew Hankinson, who portrayed the fake Kane on WWE TV last year, have been to assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling, and will be introduced on Smackdown doing a "country farm boy" tag team gimmick.

A new movie entitled "Gentleman's Choice" follows the life of Chris Adams. The YouTube description says "Gentleman's Choice" is the story of a truly nice guy who became a total jerk when he was drinking. When the steroid GHB was added to the mix, he became truly dangerous. A trained architect and judo competition winner from England, and a man with strong will and ambition, Chris Adams sought fame and fortune in America.
