WWE is working to release a Mid South DVD in September following the tape purchase from Ene Watts, the ex-wife of Bill Watts.

Jim Ross mentioned on Twitter that besides the Ric Flair vs. Terry Taylor NWA World Title Match, he also did new voice over work this past week for the Mid South DVD of a Jim Duggan vs. Buzz Sawyer arena match and the Jim Duggan vs. Ted DiBiase Tuxedo Street Fight/Loser Leaves Town/Coal Miner's Glove Match from the Sam Houston Coliseum. The latter match was one of the best matches of the 1980's, the best match Duggan was probably ever in, and maybe the best individual performance DiBiase ever did.

Fandango's entrance theme failed to make the United Kingdom top 40 charts after all, coming 239 downloads short and finishing at No. 44. It was up to No. 37 on Thursday, but the campaign lost momentum from that point. Still, it's impressive since it had no interest until Monday night, and has no radio play. It's the first time a WWE song cracked the top 100 since Jim Duggan's "USA" hit No. 71 in 1994.

Word coming from backstage in WWE is that the company's interest in having Jack Swagger win the World Title fizzled after his DUI arrest.

Mick Foley's DVD was released by WWE on Tuesday.

Mick Foley posted on Twitter "Very sorry to hear about the injury suffered by @TheRock. A torn abdominal muscle I suffered in 1993, was BY FAR my most painful injury."

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley will be appearing at the SmackDown television tapings from London, England, next Tuesday, for the show that will then air on Friday. Foley announced his involvement in a message on Twitter, saying he will be in the UK for his comedy tour so he will be dropping by before he starts his 18-city over a span of 19 days. Both RAW and SmackDown will be taped in London?s O2 Arena next week.

The Wrestling Observer and Figure Four Online (F4WOnline.com) is offering a free mp3 interview with newly inducted WWE Hall-of-Famer Mick Foley. Big Van Vader did not make it to his scheduled Canadian Wrestling's Elite appearance due to be detained by Customs Officials at the airport in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman were both tweeting Saturday night about promoter Marvin Ward, who they worked for Saturday night in Waynesboro, VA, for Top Rope Wrestling. They were both talking about being ripped off on money at the show. Mick Foley, who did a comedy show that day, wasn't aware of any problems with the show. Ward is advertising a Shawn Michaels appearance in August.

Daniel Moody, son of Paul Bearer, posted on Facebook on what would have been Bearer's birthday "Well, Dad. Today you would have been 59. And always the same speech every year. 'I didn?t need a damn card or present.' But heres your present. A promise, that is. A promise to make you proud. It absolutely sucks you gone. But I know by little signs your still here, watching and ribbing me. I love you and miss you so damn much. Damn, who can I call now to listen to lectures from?"

Dutch Savage suffered a massive stroke and is paralyzed with complications, according to his daughter. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.

Oklafan extends its condolences to Charming Charles on the passing of his brother-in-law Ralph.

Oklafan extends its condolences to the family and friends of Hillbilly, who passed away on April 9th. Hillbilly, real name David Hester, began his career in a revived version of Trailer Park Trash with Moonshine in 2010, but soon moved into a referee's role. Hillbilly continued to referee for the next 2 years in SWCW and SRPW, but would sometimes end up competing in the ring, either against Rick Garrett or Kareem Sadat.

Oklafan extends its condolences to the family and friends of Don Duffy, who passed away Saturday from complications due to colon cancer. Duffy was a mainstay of the Gulf Coast area, holding the Gulf Coast title as well as the Louisiana & Alabama titles. Duffy appeared in Oklahoma 11 times between 1971 and 1973, engaging in a brief feud with Silento Rodriguez.
