NWA-TXO "Homecoming" Event Report

NWA-TXO "Homecoming" Event Report

Posted: Mar 23rd 2013 By: CMBurnham

That?s right everyone! NWA Texoma is back in Ardmore. We have returned after a long hiatus we have returned. The show was a great return show with some new faces and some returning faces.

Before the matches could even start NWA North American and ? of the NWA Texoma Tag Team Champions Byron Wilcott addressed the fans and stated that he was the expensive one and that he was here in Ardmore to show and to prove to all the Oklahomans that he was legit and that he would show them a few things about wrestling Texas style. The vocal rampage didn?t last long as hometown hero Montego Seeka came to the ring and demanded a title shot and to prove that the fans of Oklahoma were no match for the fans of Texas, Byron accepted the challenge and the match was set for the main event of the night.

First match of the night was the Arrogance Armani vs Barrett Brown, Armani had a little surprise for all the fans as not only did he come back to Oklahoma with his tag team partner Dane, but they have a new manager, Jerry Bostic. That?s right "The Boss" is the manager of the Rock Star Mafia. The match was pretty much one sided with the double teaming and triple teaming of the Rock Star Mafia using their numbers to outmaneuver the young star, Every time Barrett got a run they squashed it. Armani pinned Barrett but only to get the match overturned because of a hidden weapon, giving the victory to Barrett.

The match didn?t end there since the beat down of Barrett continued until NWA-TXO Champion Tim Storm came in and cleared the ring. Tim told Dane that he was next on the list and why not start the match now. Referee called for the bell and the match was on. This was a great match as Tim Storm worked on Dane as they fought back and forth, with a little interference for the Boss of course. About 5 minutes into the match Vice President Terri Hopper thought the match was not enough and that instead of the match being just a match, Tim will defend his title and it is now a sanctioned title match. With that news the crowd erupted at the 2 big guys fought it out until Tim hit his finisher and gets to victory to retain his title. After the match the 3 decided they would do the same to the Champ as they did to Barrett earlier in the night, but this time Barrett came to Tim?s aide.

Grabbing the microphone from Sign Guy, Tim stated that this is now unfinished and that tonight in the semi main event he and Barrett will team up against Rock Star Mafia and finally end the attacks. Jerry ?the Boss? accepted the challenge and we will see them tonight.

Bree Ann made her Oklahoma debut to meet and greet all the fans and let them all know that she was the NWA-TXO Rose #1 contender and that she also had a little surprise as she had the Title. Yes that is right the title; apparently Barbi does not have the title. Bree tells the crowd that on April 19 in Sherman she will be taking that title from Barbi and she will be the new Rose Champion.

The third match of the night was Striker vs "Bad" Brad Michaels. Bad Brad did not like the opponent and was not taking off his jacket or wrestling until the fans showed respect. President Robert Langdon stated that the either the jacket comes off or Bad Brad can go home without pay. Referee John the Encourager started the 10 count as Bad Brad got the jacket off and the match started by the count of 10. This match was a good back and forth battle that ended badly for Striker who was looking to win to start off the new Oklahoma shows with a bang. Bad Brad got the 3 count to win the match.

Fourth match of the night was the one that the fans were expecting from all the previous actions of Rock Star Mafia that Electrifying Storm was not going to stand for. With the mouthpiece on the outside of the ring, Jerry made his presence known right away as they were going to single out Barrett Brown and make sure they don?t let Tim Storm in the ring much. Didn?t last long as Tim got the tag and soon was face to face with Dane for one more round of what he got earlier in the night. After tagging Barrett back into the match it was another 3 on one melee as Tim was once again cut off from his partner and finally enough was enough and started chasing the manager around the ring and running him back to the locker room. Tim was able to get back to the ring only it as too late as Rock Star Mafia had double teamed Barrett and got the 1-2-3 for the win.

Main event- NWA North American Champion vs Montego Seeka. Montego is the home town favorite and definitely delighted to please the fans to quiet "The Expensive One" and take that title along the way. There were many attempts by Montego to get the win and keep the gold in Ardmore but it just was not enough as Byron pinned Montego and got the victory. Didn?t take long for Byron to make sure that all the home town fans know that the gold was with ATM and not going anywhere.
