Jerry Lawler will be featured on "Inside Edition" today. In a Twitter post he said the story will feature himself and WWE doctor Mike Sampson, who saved Lawler's life. Check local listings for broadcast times in your area.

Jerry Jarrett posted on Facebook about watching RAW last week "I watched WWE last night. Jerry Lawler was returning after surviving a life threatening heart attack. I sat watching the television with a feeling of pride that they were honoring the return of such a great wrestler. I sat thinking, ?now this is real class?. Just when I was appreciating the class WWE was showing, it ended suddendly with a juvenile cheap heat angle. I turned the television off and starting thinking about Linda McMahon?s hard work and great expense running for the Senate. It is exactly this kind of programming that prevented her from becoming a Senator. Wrestling should have some limits and boundaries. If you offend great portions of the audience, it is a bad angle."

According to F4WOnline.com, there has been talk over the past month of featuring Mick Foley vs CM Punk at WWE's "TLC" pay-per-view event next month in Brooklyn, NY. The Foley promo on RAW this past Monday night seemed to point in that direction, however plans have yet to be finalized. In related news, as recently as last week, early "WrestleMania 29" plans are calling for CM Punk to be featured in the final match of the show.

Mick Foley guest hosted "E Street Radio" this past Friday afternoon playing a number of Bruce Springsteen songs and telling stories.

With the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony being conducted at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Mick Foley has emerged as the leading candidate to headline the 2013 class. There are those in the company that would also like to see Owen Hart inducted with Owen Hart vs. Bret Hart as one of the greatest matches in WrestleMania taking places at MSG, but obviously that would stir up a hornet?s nest with Martha Hart, Owen's widow.

On Twitter, Smith Hart predicted that Mick Foley, Bob Backlund, Carlos Colon, The Honky Tonk Man, and Lawrence Taylor will be the inductees for the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.

Wes Brisco, son of WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco, will be the next participant for TNA's Gut Check.

Jimmy Snuka's autobiography has recently been released.

The National Wrestling Alliance announced their 2012 Hall of Fame inductees. They are Paul Boesch, John Tolos, Mr. Wrestling II, Rick Steamboat, Fabulous Moolah, Joyce Grable, Misty Blue, The Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal), Little Beaver, and Teddy Long, Sputnik Monroe will posthumously receive the Humanitarian Award. This year marks the first year that 95% of the inductees into the National Wrestling Alliance Hall of Fame were selected by an independent committee of pro wrestling fans.

Dutch Mantell spoke at his granddaughter's benefit show on Sunday and posted on Facebook "I spoke yesterday to the crowd at the benefit show we held in honor of Amelia and in support of Amelia?s Law. In telling the story, I could see people start to cry. I almost broke down once but I held it together long enough to get the message out. Thanks to everyone for helping make the event a success. We will be holding a few more of these events in the coming months. Next one is in Amelia?s hometown of Maryville where Amanda lives now. More info on that later."

During Sunday's Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions NFL football game, Nick Fairly of the Lions did something akin to a full nelson suplex on Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, which brought out references to Thunderbolt Patterson, Dusty Rhodes and Jimmy Snuka by the announcers.
