This weekend in Waterloo, IA at the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame, Danny Hodge was in attendance and several pro wrestling legends shared stories and fun with the pioneer. In a video clip, Jim Ross shares a story of his first road trip ever in wrestling which was with Hodge and the pair stopping at a grocery store. Also, former WWE World Champion John Bradshaw Layfield gets "ambushed" by Hodge while signing autographs. The video was put together by on air personality at The Score TV, Arda Ocal, who also gets stretched by Hodge in the clip. To see the clip. click here.

Also at the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Waterloo, IA, when Kurt Angle wasn't there, they presented his Hall of Fame award to Gerald Brisco. Brisco then auctioned it off, getting $250 for it. Angle was furious about it. Angle wrote "Jerry Brisco made a mockery out of me and the Dan Gable Museum Hall of Fame by auctioning off my award. This award is a huge honor. U Spit on Me. Due to obligations I had with my wedding, I could not attend HOF. I even made a ten minute video proudly accepting the great honor. I'm disappointed I couldn't go, but devastated Jerry gave away my award. Very classy Jerry." According to the latest blog by Jim Ross, the "auction" wasn't legit and only one "bid" was made for $250. According to Ross, Angle will still get his award.

CM Punk had a big part in producing the upcoming WWE DVD about his career. Among the matches on the set will be Punk vs. Brent Albright for the Ohio Valley Title from March 1, 2006.

Goldberg addressed rumors of him making an appearance next week on Raw via Twitter: "It?s not true!! RT @mrpops96: @Goldberg there are videos and rumours suggesting that you will be at Raw 1000 is it true?"

Bam Bam Bigelow has been added to the Alumni section on WWE.com.

Nick Houser of BleacherReport.com wrote a story entitled "WWE: The Top 10 Intercontinental Champions of All Time" and coming in at #1 was Chris Jericho. Others on the list include Tito Santana at #10, The Honky Tonk Man at #9, and The Ultimate Warrior at #7. To read the entire story, click here.

There is a rumor going around that Sting and Hulk Hogan will team up at TNA's "Bound For Glory".

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that former WWE developmental talent Wes Brisco, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco, is being considered for TNA by Bruce Pritchard. Wes Brisco being looked at by TNA makes little sense since the company has a number of people in Ohio Valley Wrestling, their developmental fed, who are ready. Brisco has talent and ability but he did not make it in WWE developmental.

Ric Flair is booked to host events on the main stage at the "Gathering of the Juggalos" in Cave-in-Rock, IL on August 12th. He isn?t scheduled to wrestle.

With Ric Flair taking a spot at a Juggalo Championship Wrestling show and biding his time until he can head back to WWE, it seems strange that he is still on the TNA roster page.

At last Monday's Home Run Derby, they played the Ultimate Warrior theme music for Prince Fielder of the Detroit Tigers.

DirecTV and Viacom failed to come to an agreement over programming fees so all Viacom channels were taken off the DirecTV system on July 10th. These channels include MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BET, VH1, TV Land, CMT, Spike, and more. TNA's "Impact Wrestling" airs on Spike. At this time many other cable and satellite systems are still carrying the Viacom channels, including Cox Communications, Dish Network, and AT&T U-Verse. DirecTV is offering their customers discounts or free premium channels during the Viacom dispute.

Donald Browson III was charged with third-degree grand larceny for allegedly stealing $8,250 worth of sports cards, baseballs and other items according to the Sheriff's Office in Warren County, NY. Browson is the former owner of Omega Sports, a sports memorabilia store in Aviation Mall in Queensbury, NY. He operated the store for several years before mall management ordered the store closed Feb. 11. The closure came the day before a professional wrestler was to sign autographs at the store and numerous people who bought tickets for the event came to the store only to find it was closed. The closure also occurred days after representatives of two professional wrestlers, Edge and Ultimate Warrior, publicly raised questions about Omega Sports on numerous websites, saying the store was selling tickets to autograph signing events and was advertising appearances by the respective wrestlers even though they had not agreed to attend. Browson was jailed Monday on a felony charge that accuses him of stealing thousands of dollars worth of memorabilia from a customer.

Others on the list include The Black Scorpion sharing the #4 spot with Who drove the Hummer than ran over Kevin Nash, The Gobbledy Gooker (who was allegedly portrayed originally by Hector Guerrero) sharing the #3 spot with Hornswoggle being the illegitimate son of Vince McMahon, and Sting vs. Hollywood Hogan, Starrcade 1997 received the "Bronze Medal". All licenses issued by the Oklahoma Athletic Commission expired on June 30th and you will need to renew. In addition, as of January 1, 2012 all new wrestling license applications must also have a blood test for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV.
