WWE RAW World Tag Team Champion Randy Orton was preparing to give Shawn Michaels a Con-Chair-To when Ric Flair came to Michaels' aid. Flair held off Orton until Kenny Dykstra came and threw Flair over the top rope.

Jim Cornette was meeting with the members of Seratonin. He said he doesn't understand anything about them, but they're employed as wrestlers. He then insisted that Raven put on his tights and wrestle on the show.

A. J. Styles disguised himself as Raven and attacked Rhino, bloodying him with a chair shot.

Sting came to the ring. He said that everyone had demons and when he found out what Abyss did, it was hard for him to fathom. For 10 years, Abyss has been hiding or protecting something. He predicted that Abyss would go off when it was revealed, but he was willing to endure that. He told the crowd that Abyss put 3 bullets in his dad, put him in a coma, but his dad survived. Why did he do this? He said Abyss had some explaining to do. Abyss then came to the ring and attacked Sting. Sting didn't fight back. Abyss dragged Sting around the Impact Zone, beating him, putting him through a table, then taking him outside and continued to beat him until Father James Mitchell stepped out from a shadowed area and threw fire in Sting's face.
