1-8 WWE RAW

Ric Flair interfered in the Jeff Hardy/Kenny Dykstra Intercontinental Title match, costing Dykstra his chance at becoming the youngest Intercontinental Champion ever.

Jerry Lawler interviewed Vladimir Koslov at ringside.

Kurt Angle barged into Jim Cornette's office. Cornette said for weeks he had done what Angle asked. Now, he needed Angle to be at ringside when HE asked. Angle asked why he should do anything that Cornette wanted. Cornette asked if Angle would do something for the guy who determined who got shots at the NWA World Title? Angle admitted that Cornette had a point and promised to be there, but said that Cornette had better make it worth his time. After Angle left, Cornette smiled and said it would be worth HIS time.

Jim Cornette was in the ring with Christian Cage & Tomko. He reminded Cage that Tomko was barred from ringside during the 3-Way Elimination Match for the NWA World Title at the Final Resolution PPV. So, to be fair, Cage will be locked in a cage during the Abyss/Tomko match tonight! As Cage began to protest, Cornette said that if he didn't agree, he would lose his spot in the NWA World Title match Sunday. Cornette then brought out Kurt Angle to put Cage in the cage.

Sting once again came to the rescue of NWA World Champion Abyss, driving off Christian Cage & Tomko. After Abyss raised Sting's hand in appreciation, he surprised Sting by scopping him up and putting him in the Shock Treatment finisher. James Mitchell looked overjoyed as he brought his "monster" back to the dark side and they both stood over a fallen Sting as the show closed.
