News:

There are reports that WWE developmental talents Oleg Prudius, Daniel Rodimer, G-Rilla, and Jake Hager are scheduled to switch from Deep South to OVW in the next few weeks.

Despite reports to the contrary, it appears Jim Cornette is not involved with NWA-TNA creative, but has been civil with writer Vince Russo. Cornette has been helping with interview segments and attends the production meetings. Cornette and Russo were seen working together and getting along at the last set of iMPACT! tapings. Cornette who had originally requested to never work with Russo helped run the tapings, including the production of some of the pre-taped segments and some minor booking.

There are reports that Andy Douglas appears to be done with TNA now that creative has decided to break up The Naturals.

Kenny Dykstra vs. Ric Flair is still penciled in for the 1/7 New Year's Revolution PPV, although WWE has yet to officially announce it

The TBS sitcom "My Boys" has a newspaper sportswriter character named Jack Brisco, although there were no inside references like he was a former wrestler or anything

Dutch Mantel was scheduled to wrestle on the United States Wrestling Organization show in Nashville on Christmas night, but couldn't as he reportedly needs surgery.

Steve Williams & Robert Gibson have both been hired as trainers, not as producers/agents as reported elsewhere.

The internal betting line is that Tazz will be gone when his current contract expires in March 2007. Originally, it was believed that Brad Armstrong was used on ECW on Sci Fi as a try out should Tazz leave the company. Now, it's reported that his use was a jab at the Voodoo Kin Mafia, as Brad Armstrong & B. G. James are brothers.

Michael Hayes booked last Monday's Tribute to the Troops edition of Raw. The show was attended by aprox. 2,000 troops.

Charlie Haas now has his hair done in corn rows to further he and Benjamin's current angle with Cryme Tyme.

Roddy Piper was a guest on Mark Madden's radio show in Pittburgh a few weeks ago. Piper said his cancer is in the early stages and expects to beat it, and then take on Vince McMahon at Wrestlemania in a retirement match. Didn't Piper already have a retirement match at Wrestlemania? Piper said he didn't want to be voted as Ric Flair partner's at Cyber Sunday in the tag team title match, nor was in shape to wrestle at the event. Piper also said he is doing five days a week of chemotherapy.
