The Rob Van Dam/Hardcore Holly Match from Tulsa, OK in September was part of a video package recapping the feud between those 2 stars.

Kurt Angle was in Jim Cornette's office demanding a rematch with Samoa Joe. Cornette says if what Kurt Angle did last week wouldn't convince Joe, nothing would. Cornette then says that he needs to concentrate on the NWA World Title picture and reminds Kurt that it's also the year-end programme and he's up for a bunch of awards. Cornette pleads for Angle not to mess up the programme. Angle promises he won't, then leans in to Cornette and says he WILL get his rematch.

Sting def. Christian Cage and NWA World Champion Abyss (w/ James Mitchell) in a Nightstick On A Pole Match, thanks to Tomko who removed the nightstick, but failed to get it to Cage. Sting intercepted it and used it, becoming the winner. After the match, Tomko attacked Sting, but Abyss came to his defence, again shocking and upsetting Mitchell. Sting then handed Abyss the nightstick and Abyss didn't attack him.

A video package recapping the feud between A. J. Styles & Rhino was shown.

A. J. Styles & Christopher Daniels were voted Tag Team of the Year by the TNA fans. The Ultimate X Match invoving Styles & Daniels vs. the Latin American Xchange was voted the Match of the Year.

Jim Cornette announced that Abyss would defend the NWA World Title against Christian Cage & Sting in a Triple Threat Elimination Match at Final Resolution PPV.
