Umaga (w/ Armando Alejandro Estrada) def. Jim Duggan & Eugene in a Handicap Match. Eugene never actually got involved in the match, instead standing down by Lilian Garcia and cowering in fear as Umaga destroyed Duggan.
Ric Flair came out for a promo. He said he & a partner have a chance to make tag team history when they challenge the Spirit Squad for the WWE RAW World Tag Team Titles. It's just up to the fans which partner it will be. All 3 are legends & flagships of the business and all 3 have personal history with Flair. He then briought out Sgt. Slaught, Roddy Piper and Dusty Rhodes. Each did promos about why they should be Flair's partner at Cyber Sunday PPV. Slaughter called the tag team champs the "Puke Squad". Piper pointed out that he's never held a world title. Dusty said this is all about passion and repect for the business. Flair closed by saying that it doesn't matter which one they pick, the Spirit Squad should prepare to get their asses kicked.

11-2 NWA-TNA Impact
2 taped segments opened the show. A. J. Styles interrupted a backstage interview between Christy Hemme & NWA World X Division Chris Sabin. Sabin was running down the past of the X-Division, specifically Jerry Lynn. Harsh worlds were exchanged between the two as Styles felt that Sabin was being disrespectful to Lynn. Then another taped segment was shown, filmed later as Styles attempted to apologise for his actions to Hemme and the audience when Sabin barged in. Sabin said that, even though he was the champion and it wasn't normal for this to happen, he was going to challenge Styles to a match for the X Division Title. That match would be part of the "Fight For Your Right" Tournament and would open the show this week.
A. J. Styles def. NWA World X Division Champion Chris Sabin for the title, advancing to the finals of the "Fight For Your Right" Tournament.
A Sting interview package was shown. Sting said that the NWA World Title used to represent ideals like lust, greed & evil. Now that it's in his hands it will mean honour, dignity & had work. Sting praised God as his maker, acknowledging that he could have done none of this without him.
