NEWS
Metro Pro Wrestling posted a video on You Tube featuring Mark Sterling talking to MPW Television Champion Trevor Murdock and trying to find him a worthy challenger for the title. Sterling tells Murdoch he found someone and proceeds to show Murdoch that some. The wrestler is Casanova and he is being oiled down by none other than Jamie Lynn. To watch the video, click here.

NWA Southwest posted a video from Spoiler 2000 who is complaining about being passed over for title shots. He talks about being the only person in NWA Southwest that has held both the NWA Oklahoma Heavyweight Title and the NWA Texas Heavyweight Title at the same time and wonders what else does he left to prove. Jim Ross was back announcing Sunday night. He did the second quarter broadcast of the Boston Celtics vs. Oklahoma City Thunder NBA game in Oklahoma City for the Celtics radio network. Sean Grande, the radio voice of the Celtics, is a huge wrestling fan. Grande asked Ross who he would put on his Mount Rushmore for wrestling and he said Lou Thesz, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and Bruno Sammartino. Grande seemed surprised Ross didn't mention Ric Flair, and Ross said that he figured as Mount Rushmore he had to limit it to four.

Jerry Lawler did not travel to England with WWE and was not at the broadcast table on "WWE Monday Night RAW". Some rumors circulated that Lawler had been suspended. Jim Ross posted the following on Twitter regarding Lawler: "Jim Ross posted on Twitter: "The King is NOT suspended as a twitter follower stated. He has a severe infection as a result of a knee injury. On IV antibiotics. Will b ok"

The plan for the Throwback Raw next week is to go old-school with the original 1993 opening, no pyro, etc. Sgt. Slaughter, Dusty Rhodes, Jimmy Snuka, Roddy Piper, The Iron Sheik, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Arn Anderson, and IRS are all confirmed to be there. Lita will probably be on the show as well along with the newly re-signed Val Venis.

Last week, some cable systems accidentally put up the preview for next week's Raw instead of last night's show, which lists the appearances of names like Roddy Piper, Jimmy Snuka, Iron Sheik, Sgt. Slaughter, Dusty Rhodes and others.

"WWE Superstars" on Sky 1HD on Friday night in the United Kingdom didn't have any commentary on the first segment. The commentary was back after they came back from the ad break in the Jack Swagger vs. Kaval match.

Wal-Mart has some WWE DVDs on clearance right now for just $5 including the Four Horsemen and World Class documentaries.

On the big United Kingdom satire show ?Have I Got News For You? Thursday night, Linda McMahon?s campaign advertisement was shown with the host prefacing it that it was genuine and that she thought this would get her message across, the one when she?s slapped by Stephanie and kicks Jim Ross low.

Harley Race was a visitor backstage at the TNA show in Sedalia, MO on October 28th.

Mick Foley will be a guest on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Wednesday, November 10th. The show airs at 11pm Eastern/10pm Central on Comedy Central.

The Matt Morgan vs. Jeff Jarrett match did air internationally on the "TNA iMPACT!" show this past week. When the main event goes on "TNA Reaction", the company either edits things out of the original show, or at times edits off the main event.

The Ring of Honor "Glory by Honor" pay-per-view show, headlined by Roderick Strong's ROH title win over Tyler Black and Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas), is now available on DVD.

Joe Doering, recently cut by WWE, started back Sunday with All Japan as a late replacement for Charlie Haas, who is headed to France with American Rampage Wrestling in a few days.

Roddy Piper will return to the ring for the WrestleReunion legends Battle Royal this January in Los Angeles. Terry Funk, Bob Orton, Jr., Tito Santana, and Ken Patera will also be participating.

Roddy Piper and daughter Ariel Teal Toombs will be starring in a movie called "Legion: The Final Exorcism" that will be released on DVD in January.

Last week we reported that Jade Adams ? daughter of deceased pro wrestler Chris Adams, now adopted daughter of former WWE champion Steve Austin ? gave birth to a baby boy.
