9-4-06 WWE RAW

The Highlanders def. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch and Charlie Haas & Viscera in a Triple Threat Match to earn a WWE RAW World Tag Team Title shot at the Unforgiven PPV.

Ric Flair came out while Maria is hosting the Kiss-Cam segment. He says it's good to be back in Atlanta and the only thing that could make it better would be a kiss from Maria. Maria & Flair kiss. Flair bumps after the kiss. He then recovers and says that even though he made Mick Foley say "I Quit.", what happened 2 weeks ago involving Melina and the McMahons was wrong. At this point, Armando Alejandro Estrada interrupts Flair. He says noone wants to listen to Flair and Flair should declare Umaga "The Man" since he beat Flair several months ago. He calls this "passing the torch". Flair simply says, "No." Estrada calls Flair crazy and says he has a death wish. He says that Flair will be the next victim of Umaga. Umaga comes down the ramp, but moments after he enters the ring, pyro goes off and Kane comes out. Kane & Umaga fight in the ring until Kane clears out Umaga & Estrada.

9-7-06 NWA-TNA Impact

Jeremy Borash interviews NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett backstage. Eric Young bursts in with new darker hair. He says he understands careers being on the line. He has an uncle who knows all about the tricks of polygraphs. Jarrett takes Young with him as the show begins.

A.J. Styles & Christopher Daniels attack NWA World Tag Team Champions LAX adter their match with the Kirby Brothers. Daniels climbs the Ultimate X structure and Styles throws 1 of the World Tag Team belts up to Daniels where he attaches it. The crowd then chants, "You can't get it" at LAX.

Jim Cornette is shown walking around backstage while Don West & Mike Tenay discuss the upcoming lie detector test. No sound comes from Cornette's area, but he can be seen talking to referee Slick Johnson, who goes away looking extremely happy about something after talking to Cornette.

Borash, Young & Jarrett are still backstage. Jarrett is now hooked up to the polygraph. Young says Jarrett just has to remain calm, but after each question is asked to him (simple questions like "Is your name Jeff Jarrett?" or "Are you the NWA World Champion?"), Young bursts out complaining about the line of questioning and badgering the test administrator. Borash says this will take longer than he thought and sends it back to Tenay & West.

A video interview is shown with Mike Tenay talking to The Naturals & Shane Douglas. Tenay says their relationship is strange. Shane says they have to do everything he says. The Naturals have been entered in the Triple Chance Battle Royal to earn a shot at the NWA World Tag Team Titles. Shane says this will be no cake walk and that he's willing to end this experiment at any time if he doesn't see results. The Naturals become visably upset and say they've done everything they've been asked to. Shane agrees they've done everything, "...except win.".

Jarrett & Young emerge from Jim Cornette's office proclaiming their innocence. Jarrett sends thanks to Young's Uncle Leo and says Young has a job for life. He says he'll make Young a superstar. He invites Borash to go to the ring to witness his exoneration. After he & Young leave, the test administrator comes out of the office, looks at Borash, slowly shakes his head and walks away.

Jim Cornette comes to the ring. He orders Christian Cage to take on Rhino at the No Surrender PPV. He then says that Jeff Jarrett has been going around for months proclaiming his innocence in several highly scrutinised affairs. Despite some problems, Cornette now has his results and wants to confront Jarrett in the ring. Jarrett & Young come to the ring. Cornette reminds Jarrett that if he is found guilty on any count, he'll make Jarrett's life miserable. He then explains to the audience that it is possible for pathological liars to beat this machine, which is why the evidence isn't admissable in court. Cornette says there were 3 key questions that were asked to Jarrett that his fate rests on: 1. Did Jarrett work in collusion with Christian Cage or have any prior knowledge of his actions at Hard Justice in August? Jarrett said "No". The test says that's the truth. 2. Did Jarrett work in collusion with or have any knowledge of Earl Hebner's actions at Slammiversary in June? Jarrett said "No." The test says that's the truth. 3. Has Jarrett been acting in collusion with Larry Zbyszko to influence results in matches surrounding the NWA World Title, allowing Jarrett to reclaim that title? Jarrett said "No." Cornette says, "You're a damn liar!". The crowd then chants, "You're a liar." Cornette says you can tell when Jarrett is lying because his lips are moving. He then announces that he will give the fans a chance to get even. He can't force Jarrett to defend his title at No Surrender as that would be unfair to Sting, but he CAN force Jarrett to wrestle. He announces a contest and he will pick 15-20 winners, who will then surround the ring and each will have a leather strap which they can use against Jarrett any time he tries to escape the ring. They will all be fully liscensed to do this. Jarrett then learns his opponent will be...SAMOA JOE! Joe comes out onto the ramp with a leather strap of his own as the crowd, led by Jim Cornette, begins to chant, "Joe is gonna kill you!" and the show ends.
