Thanks for stopping by and paying us a visit here on a bitterly cold day in Oklahoma. I'll venture outside to head to the gym soon and be back in time for the kickoff of the Alabama vs. Texas National Title Game on ABC tonight.

We are staying busy with your orders and sincerely appreciate your business. If you haven't tried our products but have enjoyed our website we hope that you will soon place an order for some of our affordable products that are getting rave reviews and many that come with FREE SHIPPING.

For some reason, not that I am complaining at all, the HOT BBQ Sauce and our Chipotle Ketchup has really hit its stride and I think the reason that both products are moving so well is that many of the orders are repeat business. Folks have tried these products, loved them, and are now reordering.

Same goes for the 97% FAT FREE J.R.'s Beef Jerky. I'm likely eating up the profit on that one as I have been on a major diet the past 6 weeks or so and sampling the Beef Jerky as a "snack" has been a part of my regime. Try it and let me know what you think of it.

Tonight is Alabama vs. Texas with the Horns a 4 point underdog for the National Championship of College Football. Most of my Oklahoma brethren are so staunch in their alleged "hatred" of Texas that they would never pull for the arch rivals who reside in Austin, Texas. I have to be careful here with what I say...as things that I have said in this space in the past have ruffled a few delicate feathers. So, here goes:

The game will be won by which team's offensive line can establish dominance over 4 quarters.

Can Texas protect Colt McCoy who has won more college football games than any QB in CFB history? McCoy is the straw that stirs the Texas ****tail and how horizontal McCoy stays is a key to this game. McCoy can't be put in distress on a consistent basis if Texas wants to win.

Will Bama shut down McCoy's roommate and ace receiver Jordan Shipley? OU did but still lost to Texas by 3 in Dallas in October.

Texas defense is talented but not as stout going into the game as Alabama's. I'm sure that Texas has made that point clear to their defensive unit. PO the big dogs and turn 'em loose might be the order of the day for coach in waiting (what a stupid arrangement), defensive coordinator Will Mushcamp's group.

Texas recruits the best talent in football rich Texas so they can will match up athletically with Bama.

Mark Ingram is won the Heisman and is a stud but he won't be able to run east and west on UT.

Nick Saban is an amazing game planner especially defensively. Will Saban out coach Mack Brown?

Between my friends like Todd Grisham (Alabama), Dusty Rhodes and JBL (Texas) who love their respective teams I choose not to pick a dog in this hunt. I do think Alabama has the better team but if McCoy can carry his team ala Vince Young against USC a few years ago Texas can and will win.

Bottom line...this is going to be a helluva football game and will be the most compelling TV of the entire week for many of us hardcore football fans.

Plus, my hero Keith Jackson is going to handle the coin toss but I wish he were providing us the play by play. Veteran voices like Keith Jackson and Pat Summerall are priceless for any one who respects the contributions that these men have made to their respective games.

On the 'rasslin front, I hear that Bobby Heenan is improving from his last challenge. I love Bobby and what he has meant to me professionally and personally. No one in the wrestling business had more overall skills than did "The Wease" as he could wrestle, manage, and broadcast with the absolute best.

Please refrain from emailing me questions regarding WWE or TNA "creative" as I don't stay in touch with anyone in either area nor they me. I am disinterested in what might or might not be planned for upcoming TV episodes. I would much prefer to watch the TV shows like a fan and take it from there.

Your emails, and we have gotten a great deal lately, regarding me returning to TV some day are appreciated and motivating. Time will tell about what happens down the road but it isn't my top priority these days even though I am anxious to get back to calling matches if that's in the cards for me. We'll know more on that matter prior to Wrestlemania.

With the bitterly cold weather here in Oklahoma I have been watching some DVDs including some John Wayne and recent WWE releases which I am enjoying. I love the old footage especially on the World heavyweight Title DVD produced by WWE Home Video.

Stu Hart going into the WWE HOF is a cool deal as Stu was a real character and is one of the most impersonated men in the history of the wrestling biz. The late Owen Hart played some amazing, telephone practical jokes on his Dad that are classics. I have no idea who else will be inducted but I'm sure that it will be a fun night for those that attend or watch on TV.

Mayweather-Pacquiao not fighting? Stop the pain. There is too much money riding on this one for it to become bogged down in a drug testing fiasco. Bob Arum is like many wrestling promoters in that he knows what to say to create the most controversy and provide the proper spin on things. Just imagine if Don King were promoting this fight that WILL eventually happen. Mayweather and Pacquiao not fighting in March might help other March PPV's.

Yes, Gilbert Arenas gives new meaning to the term "shooting guard" and also proves his ignorance. The NBA millionaire should be a roommate of Plaxico Burress who was so dumb that he shot himself in the leg with an illegal hand gun before derailing his NFL career.

An emailer asked me to predict a winner between an imaginary Dr. Death vs. Brock Lesnar fight and I assume that they meant in an octagon and with both in their prime and with both having equal training and experience. Whew. I'm going to have to waffle on that one ala the Texas-Bama game as it would have been an epic or "vintage" collision of big, strong, fearless bulls. It would be a massive PPV fight if both men were allowed to devour some other opponents and then be able to talk about their devastation.

Bottom line...Dan Hodge would likely have beaten them both if all the competitors involved were in their prime. Dana White would have made a mint with a young, vibrant Danny Hodge in UFC. Some MMA purists likely would think that Hodge would have been challenged by some of today's heavyweights ala Lesnar but I've seen Hodge humble some men that were bigger than Brock and not in a show biz environment either. I can almost see MMA eyes rolling but ask some old timers in the fight game that you respect and they will tell you all about Hodge arguably being the greatest on the mat..ever.

Tomorrow I will be flying with former Dallas Cowboy and Oklahoma head football coach Barry Switzer and others to Lakewood, Colorado for the Memorial Service of Steve "Dr. Death" Williams. Please keep our wonderful friend Doc's family and loved ones in your prayers.

BTW...I am twittering on an account that WWE set up for me. Check it out as they come at all hours and about a multitude of subjects.

Join our Facebook group if you have the inkling. We already have north of 1,000 members and it's only been active for a couple of weeks or so. Go to http://facebook.dj/jrbbq/

Be well and thanks, again, for the business. Order early and often and we will always strive to never disappoint you. If you're buying BBQ Sauce or Ketchup or Jerky at your local store you might as well buy it from us and we foot the bill on the shipping of many packages right to your door.
