WWE RAW (7-24-06)

Mick Foley does a video promo. He asks what's become of Ric Flair. He can't believe that Flair called him a "fat boy" last week. He admits that hurt when his brother said that 30 years ago. He says Flair has the creativity, originality and intelligence of the average 4th grader. He says Flair uses cliches because he has nothing left to offer. He says Flair has reduces himself to being a circus side show to try and lure Foley back into the ring. Now, Flair has resorted to attacking innocent defenceless women who are friends of Foley's. Foley says that he will be in New Jersey to confront Flair and embarrass him next week. He finishes by calling Flair a "washed up piece of crap".

Ric Flair comes to the ring. He says the issue is not his age or how fat Foley is. It's about being a man. He wants Foley in a match anywhere, anytime. He wants Foley to be half the man Flair is everyday. WWE RAW World Champion Edge & Lita come out. The say Foley is right. Flair isn't "The Man", Edge is. Edge says he doesn't want to hear it anymore. He says he's the MVP and will tell Flair what's going on. WWE Intercontinental Champion Johnny Nitro jumps Flair from behind. Nitro & Edge double team Flair until John Cena comes to the rescue.

During an in-ring confrontation between Hulk Hogan and Randy Orton, Orton slaps Jerry Lawler at ringside. Lawler retaliates by shoving Orton back into the ring where Hogan procedes to beat on him until Orton quickly makes an exit.

A video package showing Jerry Lawler throwing out the first pitch at the Cleveland Indians game is shown.

7-27-06 NWA-TNA Impact

Christian Cage offers to be Sting's corner man at the Hard Justice PPV. Sting says he didn't come to TNA to make it the best because it already was. He'll give his response to Cage's offer soon. Sting reminds everyone that there will be "major surgery" at Hard Justice.

A video interview is shown with NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett once again denies any sort of colusion with referee Earl Hebner and again offers to take a polygraph to prove his point. He says there isn't room in TNA for him and Sting and at Hard Justice he will retain the NWA World Title and Sting will be forced to leave.

7-31-06 WWE RAW

Randy Orton slaps Jerry Lawler at ringside after hosting his "Orton Knows Best" parody segment in the ring.

Jerry Lawler announces that next week RAW will be in Memphis, TN and he challenges Randy Orton toi a match there.

Backstage, Mick Foley, WWE Intercontinental Champion Johnny Nitro & Melina are shown. Foley asks for a favour from Nitro. He says he hasn't been on RAW for 6 weeks and would appreciate them introducing him.

Melina introduces Mick Foley. Foley says it's great to be out there because important people should be there for important moments. Foley says he's going to give the fans what they want: Foley & Ric Flair together challenging for the WWE RAW World Tag Team Titles. He then takes that back and says that would be ridiculous. Foley then points out the similarity between himself & Flair: they both help out young stars (Flair: Randy Orton, Foley: Melina). They both have famous friends (Flair: President George W. Bush. Foley: Christy Canyon). He says one made it to the top by screwing a bunch of people and the other is a porn star. Both Flair & Foley made national headlines. Foley was interviewed by Katie Couric. Flair was known for his recent incident of road rage. At this point, Ric Flair comes out. He tells Foley to keep his mouth shut. He says he's been waiting 3 weeks for this. He says the whole world thinks he's overstayed his welcome. He asks if this is the real Mick Foley. He says that the confrontation between them is long overdue. He asks Foley who really cares about a book. He calls Foley lazy and an "imaginary badass", then lists several wrestlers known for their toughness: Bruiser Brody, Stan Hansen, Harley Race, Terry Funk. Flair says all of them would walk over Foley just to go to the bathroom. Flair says Foley gave him 19 stitches. He asks if Foley tasted Flair's blood. He says he wants to taste Foley's. He says he wants a hardcore match. He doesn't care if he's facing Mick Foley or Cactus Jack. He says bring out Mr. Socko and he'll shove him up Foley's ass. He asks the crowd who wants to see Foley vs. Flair: Hardcore. He says he wants to fall off the cage and fall on thumbtacks. He wants to finish the issue between them. He says all Foley's talk about family is crap. He says that Melina is the kind of diva Flair ran ran around with 15 years ago. Foley says this is different. He doesn't look at people as conquests. He says he doesn't think of Christy Canyon as a porn star, but as someone who helps kids overseas. He says he can't take family advice from a man who's been married 3 times and was an absentee father twice. Flair gets pissed off and Foley starts backpeddling. Foley says on a flight from Manilla, he and Flair couldn't find much to talk about, but he was impressed by Flair calling his 4 kids one at a time. He says he will never know that type of family bonding, best shown when Flair had to tell his kids that he had been arrested. Flair punches Foley. Johnathon Coachman comes out. He says that Vince McMahon had signed Foley vs. Flair at the Summerslam PPV. Foley says Vince needs to look at Foley's contract, because it says he wrestles who he wants, when he wants. He says he has a few good matches left in him and he won't waste one of a washed up piece of crap like Flair.

8-3-06 NWA-TNA Impact

Jeremy Borash announces that Sting has accepted Christian Cage's offer to be his cornerman at the Hard Justice PPV. NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett comes out. He says this is a collusion. Referee Slick Johnson comes forward. He says that Jim Cornette is in the Impact Zone. He's calling a mandatory meeting later. He especially wants to talk to Scott Steiner. Jarrett & Steiner begin to bully Johnson, asking where Cage is. Johnson says he doesn't know.

A video promo from NWA World Tag Team Champions A. J. Styles & Christopher Daniels is shown. A. J. says the next time he sees Homicide, he'll put him in the hospital. Daniels reminds A. J. that he's not cleared to wrestle. Daniels challenges Homicide to a match next week. He promises it won't end wit a "1-2-3", but with a "187...bitch!"

Jarrett & Steiner continue running backstage, looking for Cage. They beat up Jay Lethal, but still can't find Cage. Jarrett tells Borash that if they can't find Cage, they'll make Cage come to them.

A video package about Bobby Roode is shown with interviews from all the managers about him, including Shane Douglas.

Shane Douglas introduces the Naturals to the ring. He says every great team has a roadblock. Theirs is America's Most Wanted. After a quick consultation, Shane leaves the ring area. After the Naturals defeat AMW, Jarrett & Steiner come out and attack the Naturals from behind. They say if Christian Cage won't come to them, they won't leave the ring until he does. Larry Zybyszko comes out. He says he has orders from Jim Cornette. If orders aren't followed, people will be fired. Scott Steiner will meet Jim Cornette face to face in the ring tonight. Jeff Jarrett is to leave the building immediately.

A video interview by Mike Tenay is shown to Sting. Sting says that Cornette is calling things as he should. He says Christian Cage is the only person to stand up for Sting, so that is why he was chosen to be his cornerman at Hard Justice. He can't disagree with Jarrett's statement that if he doesn't win the NWA World Title, his run has been a failure. He says he'd love to win that title, but more it's more important to get rid of Jarrett. There's ony 1 thing they agree on: There's not enough room in TNA for both of them.

Jim Cornette arrives. He asks Jeremy Borash is Scott Steiner is there and if Jeff Jarrett is gone. Borash confirms both. Cornette says that's all he needed. Eric Young comes up and begs to talk to Cornette about the future. Cornette (after asking who Young was) says he'll do that next week.

Jim Cornette is in the ring with TNA talent surrounding the ringside area. He says he hasn't been on TV lately because he doesn't think the boss should be on TV every 5 minutes getting in the way of the wrestling. He says some things are out of control. To fix that, he's made the following matches: 1. a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team match: America's Most Wanted, the James Gang, The Naturals & Maverick Matt & Frankie Kazarian. The winner will get a shot at the NWA Wold Tag Team Titles. 2. Brother Runt vs. Abyss. 3. A Triple Threat/Falls Count Anywhere Match: Monty Brown vs. Rhino vs. Samoa Joe. Cornette notices that Kevin Nash is not present. He says that he would have no problems "X"ing him right now. He announces that next week, Chris Sabin, Jay Lethal & Sonjay Dutt will take on The Paparazzi & Kevin Nash. Cornette then dismisses everyone except Scott Steiner & Christian Cage. Cornette says that he wants to resolve a problem. He doesn't like wrestlers being seconds, but he did it. He says he's going to give Christian a chance to either really help or really hurt Sting. He sets up Christian Cage vs. Scott Steiner for next week. He hopes one of them will eliminate the other. After Steiner & Cage both do some verbal posturing, Cage goes to leave the ring. He's grabbed by Jeff Jarrett, who's disguised as a fan in a Sting mask at ringside. Jarrett & Sting beat on Cage as the show closes.

8-4-06 WWE Smackdown
