NWA-OK news, shows and TV report!

Hello fans and once again welcome to NWA-OK's place for the news! We'll start off by informing you all that NWA-OK will be announcing 3 shows for Oklahoma in the next few days on our site so stay tuned. I can tell you that it looks like we'll be coming to Walters, OK with 2 shows there and we will be returning to Ada, OK at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center, (Old gym) on Oct. 24th, yes on a Saturday! Also, the NWA-OK has hired 2 promotions/venue agents and we're looking to expand our reach in a few months with shows projected for the Comanche Nation Complexes and/or Casinos in the Lawton/Ft. Sill area and Choctaw Complexes/Casinos in the Durant/Hugo area so stay tuned for that. The NWA-OK Lawton/Ft. Sill agent is currently working with the tribe to have a float represented at the Comanche Nation Fair parade on the last weekend of Sept. with some of it's stars featured. We would like to welcome Ms. Dawn Tahchawwickah and thank her for the great work in that area. Here are the results for the TV taping held at the Whitesboro High School Gym in Whiteboro, TX where 600+ fans attended this past Sat., Aug. 1st. 1st match- Mascara Suprema def. Blacketeria in a great 2 out of 3 falls lucha libre style match! 2nd match- Prince Al Farat def. Ky-Ote in a very controversial manner and with the help of his manager, "Big Time" Tom Donovan. At the end of the match, Farat and Donovan introduced Javir Hossein, a new member of the the new tag team "ATF" or "Arab Terrorist Front" and they proceeded to beat down on Ky-ote. What's in store for this tag team? We'll have to see as they have set their sites on NWA tag team gold. 3rd match- Jon Steel def. A Pimp Named Slickback in a classic old school match! 4th match- 2nd generation star, Chaz Taylor and former WWE/ROH star Jaykus Plisken went to a no contest. 5th match- Jasper Davis def. Champion, Gabe "The Babe", ACH and MRK for the NWA Texas Jr. title in a Fatal 4 Way. 6th match- NWA Texas champion and former WWE/TNA star, Kevin Northcutt def. NWA-OK champion, Spoiler 2000 in an awesome main event titled the "Red River Shootout." Congradulations are in order for Matt Riviera as VH1 will feature him on one of their shows this month so check your local listings.
