- IZW booker "Coach" Gary Tool announced last week that Jerry Lawler will face Terry Funk in an Extreme Rules match at their next super show at the Great Plains Coliseum in Lawton on September 16th. More details to follow.
- Jim Cornette will be doing a conference call with the media on Tuesday, July 11th. We hope to get it posted on Oklafan as soon as it becomes available.
- Speaking of Cornette, he will be a part of Capitol Legends Fanfest in the Washington, DC area. Cornette, along with 3 members of The Midnight Express, Dennis Condrey, Bobby Eaton, & Stan Lane, The Rock-N-Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson), Stan Hansen, Ernie Ladd, Dick Slater, Jim Neidhart, Masked Superstar, Nikolai Volkoff, and Tony Atlas are among the bevy of stars set for this August's Capitol Legends Fanfest. For more information, visit www.capitollegends.com.
- There is heat amongst the TNA wrestlers over the booking team putting Jamie D, the mystery woman, with A.J. Styles and Christopher Daniels, with the feeling being that she only got her job because the person that trained her, Scott D'Amore, is a booker within the company.
- As reported last week in the Scoop, The Naturals' storyline with Shane Douglas may be over before it begins. TNA has requested that Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas get haircuts. Andy Douglas protested and he now has major backstage heat on him. This is not the first time Andy Douglas has had heat. He was suspended for 30 days several weeks back when he missed two UWF/TNA house shows.
- There have been rumors circulating that former Oklahoma star Brent Albright (WWE's Gunner Scott) has been demoted back to Ohio Valley Wrestling. At a recent Ohio Valley Wrestling TV taping, Seth Skyfire defeated Albright to retain the OVW TV Title.
- Dick "The Destroyer" Beyer returns to Japan on 7/15 in Tokyo with a group of young kid wrestlers for a U.S. vs. Japan meet.
- Dave Meltzer reports that there will be no NWA Title match at Victory Road. The original idea was for the winner of the 4 way to face Jeff Jarrett on the same night but those plans have been changed. The winner of the 4 way is now likley to face Jeff Jarrett at the August Hard Justice PPV.
- As reported last week on the Scoop, Jake Roberts was backstage at Impact this week. He was there because he and former TNA wrestler Sinn were pushing for an idea where Jake would manage him. TNA is not interested in using either of them.
- Memphis Wrestling is running a three day wrestling boot camp next weekend (July 14-16), with Jerry Lawler and Jimmy Hart at the controls. If you are interested, go to www.memphiswrestlingtv.com
- FoxNews.com is currently running a video interview of Sting talking about finding God.
- Marvin Ward's TNT Pro Wrestling (formerly Ward Family Promotions), which has been running regularly in the Virginia area for several years, announced today that they have signed a three year deal with fledgling cable network MavTV to debut a weekly one hour series on Wednesdays at 9 PM starting 9/20. An official press release is expected shortly. The promotion features several known stars such as Orlando Jordan, Heidenreich, Chris Cage, Aaron Aguilera (Jesus), The Heartbreakers Antonio Thomas & Romeo Roselli, and Tank Toland as the primary stars. Also advertised for the first TV taping are TNT "General Manager" Dennis Condrey, April Hunter, Todd Stone, Short Sleeve Sampson, Phil Brown, and Bobby Houston
- Brandon Bishop, owner of Asylum Championship Wrestling, announced recently that he is relocating to Colorado Springs, CO and ACW will relocate as well. Bishop, who also wrestles for IZW, said that he was relocating for personal reasons and also for the opportunity to launch ACW on the Colorado Springs market. ACW will host its farewell party on Sunday, August 20th at Tommy's House of Music in Wichita Falls, TX. ACW began as a wrestling fed running shows at the Asylum Concert Hall in Lawton, OK in August 2002 until January 2003 when they relocated to Wichita Falls.
- The latest episode of Stampede Wrestling is now up and ready for viewing on Wrestling Media Network (http://www.wrestlingmedianetwork.com)! Former NWA-U announcer Jeff Jackson is one half of the broadcast team.

- NWA-U wrestler Spoiler 2000 picked up another title recently. He defeated New Age Dogg, Seth Shai, and Bash to win the American Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Title in Marhsall, TX over the weekend. The match featured Kelly the timekeeper as the referee for the match. He was knocked out while senior official Jeff came to the ring. New Age Dogg pinned Bash while Spoiler pinned Seth. After some arguments Spoiler 2000 was awarded the title since Kelly was the official referee of the match. New Age Dogg then apparently retired after the match. It marks the second time S2K has held the title.
