My thoughts on the wrestling business

Someone just wrote "A letter to wrestling" and in that letter he dares the rest of us to do the same. I am going to take him up on it the best I can. Instead of doing this in a letter form I am just going to talk about it.

I love and hate this damn business. As a kid I was shy, quiet and didnt have alot of friends. What I did have though was wrestling and my role model Shawn Michaels. I lost myself in the world of pro wrestling and still haven't found my way out. In my teen years there was only one other thing that mattered to me other than wrestling... a girl. Well I fucked that up and it left a hole in me that made me bitter, pissed off and full of rage and I never thought I would be happy.... then I broke in.

I will never forget the day I first stepped into a wrestling ring. I felt at home, everything just felt completely natural. Once I had started wrestling I gained self confidence and became accepted as a part of the greatest brotherhood on the planet. Since then I have made amazing friends and have been living a dream. I love every second in the locker room, at the eating place, and most of all in the ring.

But I hate the side of the business that makes it impossible to have a normal life. People outside of the business dont understand us and how our minds work. It is a 24/7 thing. In order to make it you have to dedicate your entire life to it and it makes it impossible to find someone. At first it would seem to make sense to just get with a woman in the business, they understand it and embrace it....NOPE...they are fucking crazier than we are! So you make a choice, its either a normal life with love and family...or the business...

I choose the adrenaline, the boys, the brotherhood, the art, the physicallity, the bumps, the bruises, the back pain, the gym time, the car rides, the hung over mornings, the bright lights, the dim lights, the big crowds, the small crowds, the flea markets, the night clubs... I LOVE this business and I can never picture my life without it.... Thank you Shawn...
