- A.J. Styles won the NWA World Tag Team Titles with Christopher Daniels on 6/18 at TNA Slammiversary by defeating America's Most Wanted. It marks the 3rd time Styles has won the titles. His first title win he partnered with Jerry Lynn and were the first NWA World Tag Team Champions of the TNA era. His 2nd reign he teamed with Abyss.

- Also on TNA Slammiversary, Jim Cornette was named new TNA Director of Authority. Cornette's first night on the job was an eventful one as he held up the NWA World Title after a controversial finish in the King of the Mountain Match.

- Nikolai Volkoff, who is running for a seat in the Maryland state assembly, has enlisted the help of his former tag team partner The Iron Sheik to campaign for him.

- Jake Hager, a heavyweight wrestler from the University of Oklahoma, recently had a try out with WWE and is being considered for a developmental deal.

- "Dr. Death" Steve Williams was brought to Deep South for an informal tryout as a coach.

-The Blue Meanie filmed his third movie called "Curse Of The Werewolf" for Killer Wolf Films in Meadville and Erie, PA from June 8th ? 11th. In the movie Meanie plays "Franklin" who is a member of a pack of werewolves who in pursuit of main character "Dakota" who is attempting to leave the pack. The movie is set to debut at the Eerie Horror Film Festival on Thursday, 10/5. The film also stars former WWF star Lanny Poffo, Pam Sutch and Ei Cinema Superstar Darian Caine. -Former NWA and ECW star Jack Victory was backstage at the ECW TV Taping in Trenton, New Jersey.
