Mick Foley was working on several projects when WWE called him to do Smackdown, so Foley backed out of everything. At one point, Foley was in talks with A&E about doing a more middle class version of "Hogan Knows Best." A&E actually turned down the project because they felt there wasn't enough conflict in the Foley family.
With Randy Orton pulled from the Mexican tour, Mick Foley has been booked to referee the Triple H vs. John Cena vs. Umaga vs. JBL match on May 22nd in Queretearo. On May 23rd in Mexico City, Foley will ref the Triple H vs. Umaga title match.

Ric Flair was on NASCAR RaceDay today. Kenny Wallace(part time driver/show host) has been doing the Flair strut the past few weeks. Today since Nascar is in NC, he went to do, but the other host said they've got a professional to do it. Flair came out with his entrance music, and went up to the area where they host the show, and did the strut. Kenny got on his knee, when Ric first showed up to get his jacket. Ric then sat down, and talked. Jimmy Spencer (the co-host, who also announced a TNA match a couple months ago) asked him what is he up to these days. Flair said he's retired. Jimmy said retired? Flair said yeah at WM 25 against Shawn Michaels where have you been? He talked about racing, and how he's going to vote for Elliott Sadler (to race tonight). They then went over to Hermie Sadler (Elliots brother, Speed interviewer, partime driver, owns a wrestling company UWA?, appeared on TNA a few times) Hermie said that tonight's race is like a No DQ Street Fight in wrestling terms. Hermie then asked who is going to do the beating. Ric said the drivers better watch out for Kyle Busch (He spun Dale Jr out a couple weeks ago). Jimmy asked who could be the next nature boy in wrestling. A fan yelled out no one. Ric was thinking for a moment, then Kenny said how a fan just yelled out no one. Flair then said he works hard for those names. He ended his time on the show by doing another walk, and a woo.

Kurt Angle vs. A. J. Styles is currently on the books for TNA's "Slammiversary" pay-per-view event at this point but if Angle isn't able to compete the match will most likely be changed to Styles vs. Tomko.
If you're wondering about the mentions of Ultimate Warrior on TNA Thursday night, TNA is interested in Warrior and has made inquires. We don't know where things stand as far as if a deal is done. Most promoters philosophy is you wouldn't tease something on television unless you had the deal done, but TNA does feel the need for anything to get people talking. Warrior is training with Rob Van Dam to return to wrestling in late June for NWE in Madrid, Spain.
The April 18th NWA television taping at the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, RI drew 2,000 fans and was headlined by former WCW and WWF champion Sid Vicious. Since then, they have added X-Pac and The Rock-N-Roll Express to the card.
