Real Brothers in Wrestling

Professional wrestling has had its share of brothers, both real (The Briscos, for example), and kayfabe (the Valiants). Here is a list of some real brothers in wrestling. (Far from a complete list)
The Battens-The twins, Bart and Brad.
Where are they best known? NWA Central States, WWC, WCW, WCCW and SMW.
Who did they wrestle? The Midnight Express, Lanny Poffo and Randy Savage, the PYT Express and Bad Company (Tanaka and Diamond).
Notes: Participated in the 1986 Crockett Cup, losing in the 1st round. They suggested they were blackballed in the US for staying and working in Puerto Rico after the Bruiser Brody slaying.
The Youngbloods-Mark and Chris.
Where are they best known? WCCW, WWC and WCW.
Who did they wrestle? The Road Warriors, The Kansas City Jayhawks (Jaggers and Kroffat) and The Batten Twins.
Notes: Real last name Romero. They come from a wrestling family, with father Ricky and brother Jay.
The Mulkeys-Randy and Bill.
Where are they best known? NWA/WCW and WWF.
Who did they wrestle? Who didn’t they wrestle?
Notes: The best of the “worst” jobbers of all time. Won a match over The Gladiators to enter the 1987 Crockett Cup but lost in the 1st round.
The Simpsons-Steve and Shaun.
Where are they best known? WCCW, and Wild West.
Who did they wrestle? Jack Victory and John Tatum, Beauty and the Beast.
Notes: Steve had a successful singles career in the Pacific Northwest and formed a tag team in GWF with Chris Walker.
The Colons-Carlito, Eddy ( Primo).
Where are they best known? WWC, WWE (Carlito and Primo)
Who did they wrestle? Thunder and Lightning. (Eddie and Carlito).
Notes: Eddy and Carlito have had multiple WWC championship reigns. Primo and
Carlito won 2 WWE tag team titles.
The Haas-Charlie and Russ.
Where are they best known? CZW, ECWA, JAPW, MCW.
Who did they wrestle? The Backseat Boyz, Low Ki and American Dragon, Da Hit Squad.
Notes: Russ died of a heart attack at 27. Charlie went on to win titles in ROH and WWE.
The Sawyers-Buzz and Brett.
Where are they best known? NWA, PNW
Who did they wrestle? Road Warriors, Rip Oliver and the Destroyer.
Notes: Won the National Tag Team titles defeating the Road Warriors.
The Armstrongs-Scott, Steve, Brian, Brad.
Where are they best known? WCW, WWE, Continental, SMW, TNA.
Who did they wrestle? Midnight Express (Brad and Scott), Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie (Terry Funk) (Brian), Arn Anderson and Jerry Stubbs (Steve) among others.
Notes: Scott became a referee for WWE and TNA. Brian, better known as “Road Dogg” won several WWE and NWA tag team titles with Billy Gunn (Kip James). Brad won several tag team and singles titles throughout his career. All but Brian won tag team titles with their father Bob. Steve, Brian and Brad all won tag team titles with Tracy Smothers.
The Oates-Ted and Jerry.
Where are they best known? Central States, Georgia, All Japan.
Who did they wrestle? Ronnie Garvin, Dutch Mantell and Ron Bass, Les Thorton and Tony Charles.
Notes: They wrestled for the NWA National Tag Team titles on opposite teams, Jerry teaming with Ronnie Garvin and Ted with Rip Rogers (Hollywood Blondes).
The Anoa’i-Afa and Sika.
Where are they best known? WWF, Mid-South, NWA, WWC, Stampede.
Who did they wrestle? Jules and Jay Strongbow, The Freebirds, Dusty Rhodes and Andre the Giant, many others.
Notes: The Anoa’I family is one of the greatest families in wrestling history. There are several generations currently wrestling.
The Rodríguez’s-Mil Mascaras, Dos Caras, and El Sicodélico.
Where are they best known? UWA, AJPW, NWA California.
Who did they wrestle? The Destroyer, Bull Ramos, the Sheik, Abdullah the Butcher, Bruiser Brody.
Notes: Mascaras is the most famous of the 3 brothers. El Sicodélico had a short career, only wrestling in about 280 matches. Caras and El Sicodélico have sons that have become professional wrestlers. (Dos Caras Jr, Alberto Del Rio).
The Laurinaitis’ – Joe, John and Marc
Where are they best known? AWA, NWA/WCW, WWE, CWF, GCW, All Japan, New Japan
Who did they wrestle? The Powers of Pain, the Midnight Express, Kenta Kobashi
Notes: Joe Laurinaitis is the most famous of the brothers being a member of the Road Warriors, John was best known for his time wrestling in Japan, but had some success as the Sheepherders flagbearer and teaming with Shane Douglas as the Dynamic Dudes. Marc wrestled as the Terminator in Japan and and in territories like Florida.
