Saturday Night Riot Recap

Saturday Night Riot Recap

Posted: Jan 8th 2008 By: CMBurnham

What a show this last Saturday night at the jam packed arena in Ardmore. UWF06 pulled out all the stops with their show and MSWA Mid-South Champion Al Farat was his ol' self as usual verbally attacking the crowd. Why he even was in the face of the vendor.

The show started when the dapper Josh Smith entered the arena with his fanfare, anouncing the first match, UWF06 Texhoma Champion Les Mayne and Javi Hernandez. "The Mayne Event" was working a good match until Kuna Keeyoh ran into the ring to assist the Hellacious one, giving the match to Mayne by disqualification.

Before the next match could be anounced, UWF06 Femme Fatale Champion Frankie Dee's music started and she came out telling everyone that she was indeed the champion and there was no one in the UWF06 that could beat her. It was during her tirade that she was interrupted with Thomas Trump's music. He entered with his assistant Tasha. He told her that she had to prove herself against the number one contender, Tasha, to prove that she was really the champion and that she would have to do it right now in the ring. The match went to and fro until Frankie began to mount a fierce attack and wore down Tasha and again, proved that she was the Champion.

This was the night when the tournament for the UWF06 "Dual Kombat" tag team title began. Alliances began being formed and it started fast and furious in the next match. Al Farat came into the arena and announced that he brought in an old friend from the past. Then he passed the microphone to the ring announcer to introduce "Menace 2 Society" who enters to his music, dressed in a "Michael Vick" jersey. It was right then that everyone knew that he was trouble. You know Vick was the one that put on dog fights. Their opponents, Sargeant J. D. Striker and his partner, UWF06 Violent Division Champion Bundy, came out. The match was about even at first, but you could see that the devious Al Farat was working to change that by uncovering the turnbuckle. And then the unholy alliance began to take over. Sgt. Striker was attacked merciously and his face was cut open with vicious attack using a fork. Al Farat had hidden it in his trunks. Blood was everywhere. The referee decided that Striker and Bundy had won by disqualification. It took some time for the ring and the mats outside of the ring to be cleaned.

The third match was not so bloody, but Thug Nasty brought his "A" game facing "The Great" Dane Griffin. He had better bring it as Dane was no push over. The Nasty one, won this one.

Thomas Trump came to the arena to announce that his new partner, "The Gifted" Eric Rose, was being taken under his wing and that they would be re-forming High Society. whereupon Jerry "the Boss" Bostic, the ringside commentator, objected vigorously as he was a part of the first society. To face them was The Brawler, Shane Rawls. Having no partner, he told them that he would not need them, but he was told that this wasn't a handicap match. It was a tag team event. He would need a partner. He called for someone from the back to step up and be his partner. After a short pause, the music for Montego Seeka started and out he came. You know that these two had never tagged before and it showed. They had not even worked out together. So it was that High Society took the nod over the new team. The winners of these matches will move on in the tournament to continue in the next matches.

The finale saw the UWF06 Heavyweight champion, Ky-ote Joe Herell take on the pride of the Chicksaw Nation, Kunna Keyoh. In this match, the title was at stake. Things were really going well for the champion when he nearly had Kunna pinned. At this point was when Javi raced to the ring to pull off the champion and the two of them started to beat on him. The referee called for a disqualification and the title would be retained by Ky-ote. If you weren't there, you really missed a night that will be remembered as one of the best show of shows.
