WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H was not at “WWE Monday Night RAW” in Nashville, TN this past week, which left Bruce Prichard as the man in charge.

WWE had a big presence as part of their new collaboration and licensing deal at Saturday's Dr Pepper Big 12 Football Championship game in Arlington, TX between Texas and Oklahoma State. The partnership, announced in mid-November, consists of a custom-made championship title belt for this year’s Big 12 Football Championship Most Outstanding Player, presented on-field at the conclusion of the game by a WWE Superstar. Additionally, a co-branded WWE x Big 12 logo was featured throughout the venue and on the field. Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Jade Cargill, Samantha Irvin, The Undertaker, and Michelle McCool were all present at the game with The Undertaker presenting the custom-made championship.

Ric Flair's promo on "AEW Rampage" where he invited 18 to 28 year old women with no boyfriends or husbands to come to his room following the show was edited off the final broadcast which aired on Friday on TNT. Flair's comments drew a huge backlash online, with people asking why a 74-year-old is still inviting an 18-year-old to party all night long in his room. While some wrestling legends came to Flair's defense on X, AEW took the more cautious approach and decided to leave that part on the editing room floor. "The Nature Boy" yesterday responded to the criticism and said that he's just having fun and has earned the right to do what he wants to do, but apologized to Tony Khan and said that if he's embarrassing the company, he would gladly walk away from it, adding that he does not need the work nor the money.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer has reported that Sammy Guevara is now cleared to compete following two months out due to a concussion. Guevara suffered the concussion during a trios match at “WrestleDream” on October 1st and has not wrestled since. Guevara teamed with Konosuke Takeshita and Will Ospreay to take on Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi on that pay-per-view.

AEW stars Tay Melo and Sammy Guevara are proud new parents of baby girl they named Luna. "11/28/23 8.4 lbs and 24+ hours of labor," Guevara tweeted. "Our life is complete." Sammy and Tay announced their relationship in November 2021 and seven months later they got engaged in Paris, France. Their engagement quickly turned into a wedding two months later as they got married in August 2022 in Orlando, FL. The duo announced that they are expecting their first child together at AEW's “Double or Nothing” pay-per-view earlier this year.

At the August TMart Promotions convention in Charlotte, NC, they will honor World Class Wrestling with Kevin Von Erich, John Nord, Rod Price, and Brian Adias, plus they will also honor the Von Erich family. There will also be a reunion of The Glamour Girls (Judy Martin & Leilani Kai) and The Jumping Bomb Angels (Itsuki Yamazaki & Noriyo Tateno), who had some of the best matches on WWE house shows for a period in the late 1980s.
