NEWS
TNA will not push or even mention Sting until he signs another contract. While there are several Talents either out of contract or haven't signed one to start, their is fear that Sting could leave at anytime and they don't want to have a situation to where they promote him and he disappears much similar to Shannon Moore. This would not be of concern to TNA if it were not for the rumors that Ric Flair wants to have his retirement match be with either Sting or Triple H but regardless if it's his last match or not, Flair is persistent in his desire to work one more time with Sting. WWE seems more willing now than in the past to entertain the idea of Sting working a lighter schedule. It is however believed that if Sting does come to WWE it's likely that it will require build up and some form of longevity after the match as WWE doesn't have a desire to have Sting come in for one match and then go away, similar to Warrior in WCW.

The December 3rd meeting with TNA talent to offer releases to anyone that wanted to leave the company wasn?t a knee jerk reaction, and had been in the works for weeks. Management was said to be feed up with undercard wrestlers complaining, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The meeting started at 1:30PM in the bleachers at the Impact Zone, the day after the "Turning Point" pay-per-view. At the meeting, Samoa Joe apologized being unprofessional at the PPV. Johnny Devine also apologized at the meeting, for reportedly an incident involving the wrestler at a hotel on December 1st. TNA President Dixie Carter also addressed the talent. Terry Taylor told that the talent that if they wanted their release, they could get it. As previously reported, Senshi (an update on Senshi is forthcoming) and Ron Killings requested and were granted their releases. Even though Senshi and Killings were the only two to request releases that day, we have heard of many wrestlers contacting other wrestling organizations. We have also heard of other wrestlers wanting a release, and TNA trying to convince them to stay.

The decision to use Eric Young in the main event at TNA's "Turning Point" pay-per-view due to Scott Hall no-showing the event was made by Jeff Jarrett as a last minute decision.

On the heels of Cody Rhodes (the son of Dusty Rhodes) winning one half of the World Tag Team titles last night on Raw, WWE has signed the son of another wrestling legend, Ric Flair (and no, not David Flair). Reid Flair, 19, has signed a WWE developmental deal, and will be assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling starting in January.

The Doink the Clown that appeared on the "WWE RAW" 15th Anniversary show was the original wrestler to portray Doink, none other than Matt Borne.

The WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be March 29, 2008. The location is reportedly the Amway Arena, but that has not been confirmed. Possible entrants could be Ric Flair, Randy Savage, and Ricky Steamboat. Other rumored names are the Von Erichs, Ted DiBiase, Mae Young, Gordon Solie, Rick Rude, and Bob Uecker.

Afa of The Wild Samoans, WWE World Women's Champion Beth Phoenix, Luna Vachon, and John Cena were all in attendance at the December 11th Florida Championship Wrestling event in New Port Richey, FL.

WWE Hall of Famer Greg "The Hammer" Valentine has been telling people he's in the movie "The Wrestler," with Mickey Rourke.

"Baby Doll" Nickla Roberts, a featured legend in Legends Championship Wrestling, has informed Legends Championship Wrestling that Jake "The Snake" Roberts was placed in a nine-week rehab program two days ago by World Wrestling Entertainment. Roberts is the ex-wife of Sam Houston, Jake Roberts' half-brother and has stayed in close contact with Roberts. She said in an exclusive interview with LegendsChampionshipWrestling.com, "Jake needs prayers and support from all of us." A contact from World Wrestling Entertainment was unavailable for immediate comment.
