Impact Wrestling has announced some more details about the upcoming "Knockouts Knockdown" show, which was taped this weekend and will air on October 9th. At the show, Melissa Santos will be the ring announcer, and the commentary team will feature Veda Scott on Play-by-Play and Mickie James as the Color Analyst.

There are reports that Bobby Lashley lost the WWE Championship last Monday is because he and MVP are headed to SmackDown.

MVP posted a picture of himself and Shelton Benjamin on a plane together saying they were “talking business”. What could it all mean?

There was no post-show match after WWE RAW, with the show ending after Big E won the WWE Championship. A 6-Man Tag Team Match pitting Damien Priest & RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle) vs. Bobby Lashley, A. J. Styles, & Omos had been advertised locally but did not take place.

Matches added to WWE’s YouTube page Tuesday include John Morrison vs. Sheamus in a Falls Count Anywhere Match from the September 13, 2010 edition of RAW.

Bronson Rechsteiner, son of Rick Steiner, has been given a new name in NXT. He changed his social media name to @RexSteiner and posted pictures that revealed his new in-ring look, which is very reminiscent to that of when his dad teamed with his uncle, Scott Steiner. However, when he debuted on NXT last week, his new name was revealed as Bron Breakker.

Following the explosive episode of "Dark Side of the Ring" covering the WWE Plane Ride From Hell, Impact Wrestling has suspended Tommy Dreamer effective immediately. In a statement issued to John Pollock of Post Wrestling, Impact Wrestling said, “We are aware of Mr. Laughlin’s (Tommy Dreamer) comments on ‘Dark Side of the Ring.’ The views expressed by him in the interview are completely unacceptable. We can confirm Mr. Laughlin was suspended this morning with immediate effect, pending further action.” With this suspension, Dreamer missed the three days of TV tapings at the Skyway Studios where Impact also recorded the all-women Impact Plus show. In the episode which aired last week, Dreamer defended Ric Flair’s actions after flight attendant Heidi Doyle accused Flair of sexually harassing her mid-flight, forcing himself on her, and making her touch his genitals. Dreamer said that Flair was just “stylin’ and profilin’” and never imposed any sexual stuff on anyone. “Obviously, somebody took offense to it,” Dreamer said bluntly, adding that his ponytail probably offends someone as well. The former ECW Champion later said that it was all a joke and Flair’s actions were just for fun and while today it would be unacceptable to act that way, he made it seem like it was okay for that time. Dreamer also said that the flight attendant should not have taken the WWE payout to settle the case out of court and should have used the full extent of the law to get justice. During the episode, multiple witnesses said that Flair wore his robe but with nothing underneath, he exposed himself and made his “well-endowed penis” spin like helicopter blades while rotating his hips.

Car Shield, the company which uses Ric Flair in its nationwide television advertising campaigns, has suspended all its adverts featuring the Nature Boy after the "Dark Side of the Ring" episode which aired Thursday night. In comments given to PWInsider.com, ad agency Intermedia said, “We take these matters very seriously. As of right now, we are pausing the campaign and we will do our due diligence.” Flair has a lucrative deal with Car Shield where he appears in their television ads but the several eye witness accounts on the Plane Ride From Hell episode of DSOTR has put the whole deal in jeopardy. A flight attendant from the chartered flight from that day in May 2002 accused Flair of sexual abuse during the show, giving viewers a detailed account of what Flair did to her when he showed up naked with just one of his robes, forcing himself onto her and making her touch his genitals. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer denies any of the accusations and the flight attendant settled her lawsuit against Flair and WWE out of court for a big payout. Tommy Dreamer, who sided with Flair during his sit-down interview on the episode, was suspended by Impact Wrestling earlier in the day.

WCR announced last week that Kevin Sullivan has joined Eric Embry on the booking team.

On the TV show "Billions" last week, there was a discussion of wrestling and the name "Big Cat" Ernie Ladd was name dropped.
