NEWS
Texas based Advanced Pro Wrestling announced last week that Michael Faith will be inducted into their Hall of Fame on March 6th at their "Where Legends Are Made" event in Cleburne, TX. They also announced that Kyra Maya will be inducting him.

AEW President Tony Khan has said during an interview with PWInsider.com that Sting has been fully cleared to wrestle, reacting to questions about the powerbomb that Sting took on last week’s "Dynamite". “He’s been cleared, he’s been fully cleared. He’s been training with Darby and sparring partners and he’s been fully cleared to wrestle,” Khan said, adding that in training, Sting had been practicing receiving a powerbomb. “At that point when he’s taking them in training, it’s time for the live crowd. So he was completely cleared to do it and wanted to do it and he wanted to get out there and wrestle,” Khan continued. Sting has not wrestled since 2015 where he last stepped in the ring against Seth Rollins at the "WWE Night of Champions" pay-per-view. In that match, Sting was seriously injured and later announced his retirement. Khan noted that with Sting cleared to wrestle, now all bets are off and he expects Sting to have a great performance at the "Revolution" pay-per-view.

The highest segment on Wednesday night was the brawl with Sting & Darby Allin vs. Team Taz. It wasn't the high quarter, but the brawl itself averaged 1,002,000 viewers and 512,000 in 18-49. A Matt Jackson promo and the Britt Baker vs Nyla Rosa ring entrances also topped 500,000 in 18-49. Parts of Adam Page vs. Isaiah Kassidy also topped 1 million viewers.

Mick Foley congratulated Paul Wight, writing on Twitter: "Wishing the very best to my friend @PaulWight on his signing with [AEW] I’m guessing the big fella thought he had done all there was to do in @WWE - and that he still had some gas left in the tank."

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley took to Twitter Monday night and reacted to Rhea Ripley going to the RAW brand soon. Foley has praised Ripley in the past and now he says it’s vital that WWE “not mess around” when it comes to Ripley’s official debut as a RAW Superstar. WWE began airing “coming soon” vignettes for Ripley on last night’s show. “It’s vital that @WWE not mess around when it comes to pushing @RheaRipley_WWE PLEASE. don’t allow her to suffer a 50/50 fate. Strap that rocket to her back, and see how far she can fly,” Foley wrote. There’s no word on when Ripley will make her official red brand arrival.

WWE announced last week that the largest class of recruits in company history has reported to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL to begin training under their WWE NXT contracts. This class includes the most female recruits of any class with 10. There are 8 male recruits for a total of 18. The class includes Rick Steiner’s son Bronson Rechsteiner, college football standout Parker Boudreaux, former Impact Knockouts Champion, and wife of John Morrison, Taya Valkyrie, NXT’s LA Knight (AKA Eli Drake), AQA, Anthony Henry, Harlem Bravado, NXT’s Zoey Stark, Christian Casanova, NXT’s Gigi Dolin, Drew Kasper, NXT’s Cora Jade, Blake Christian, Matrick Belton, Camron Bra'Nae, Joe Ariola, Avery Taylor, and Karissa Rivera. It’s worth noting that Sareee was not announced for this class. Sareee reportedly signed with WWE about a year ago and has remained in Japan due to the COVID-19 pandemic. PWInsider reported that she has just arrived in the United States. There’s no word on why she wasn’t announced but it could have something to do with Sareee needing to quarantine after the flight from Japan.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that John Morrison did injure his knee on RAW when he caught his legs in the ropes and fell to the floor. At the present time it is not clear how seriously he was injured.

Wednesday’s WWE YouTube additions include Aleister Black vs. A. J. Styles in a No DQ Match from the 2020 Elimination Chamber show.

WWE Network Documentaries will expand its storytelling beyond WWE and for the first time, will present Heaven, a new documentary premiering Sunday, March 7. Heaven tells the story of a trailblazing high school wrestler named Heaven Fitch. In 2020, as a junior, Fitch became the first female athlete to win a boy’s state wrestling championship in North Carolina, claiming the top spot in the 106-pound weight class. The film documents her inspiring journey up the ranks and the challenges she faced along the way, from proving doubters wrong to defying the odds and making history. Narrating the documentary is WWE Hall of Famer and fellow North Carolina resident Beth Phoenix, who, like Fitch, often competed against boys during her amateur wrestling career. WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon provides the film’s introduction. Heaven, which premieres during Women’s History Month, marks a departure from WWE Network Documentaries’ typical subject matter focusing on the squared circle. “The story of Heaven Fitch is the beginning of a new genre of storytelling for WWE Network Documentaries. She has inspired so many with her elite athleticism as well as her numerous accomplishments. We are excited to share Heaven’s championship story with the WWE Universe,” says Ben Houser, VP & Executive Producer, WWE Network Documentaries. The film will be available to stream on demand starting at 10am Eastern on the free version of WWE Network and across WWE digital media channels.
