Samuel Savage was highlighted on KTUL Channel 8 in Tulsa as one of the speakers at a Black Lives Matters rally in Stillwater. Savage and other protesters spoke in front of the Stillwater police department.

AEW commentator and senior advisor Jim Ross responded to a fan on Twitter last Sunday who criticized the legendary play-by-play man for potentially misgendering company star Sonny Kiss on the previous week’s episode of Dynamite. Ross referred to Kiss as a he/him several times, angering the fan. Ross writes, “SonnyKissXO told me he identifies with both genders. I have sonny’s blessing. With all that’s going on in our world, this is far from “disgusting.” Lighten Up, Francis and have a great day.” Kiss has also been vocal in the past about his identification.

El Fuego del Sol once again appeared on AEW this week. He was on the receiving end of a vicious beating from Lance Archer out behind the building before Archer was interviewed by Alex Marvez.

On last week's episode of "Impact Wrestling", it was teased that some of the recent WWE releases could appear at "Slammiversary" because that event is 3 days after their 90 day no-compete clause expires. Among those being teased are Maverick (Rockstar Spud), EC3, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Eric Young, Curt Hawkins, and Rusev. Deonna Purazzo has already joined Impact because she was under an NXT contract and they only had a 30 day no-compete. Maverick will more than likely not be appearing as it appears he has been resigned to a WWE contract.

WWE’s YouTube channel uploaded Shelton Benjamin vs. Ric Flair from "Backlash 2004" and an 8-Man Tag Team Match featuring MVP, Randy Orton, Edge, & Mr. Kennedy vs.Batista, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, & The Undertaker. tag match where Batista, Shawn Michaels, John Cena & The Undertaker from the February 15, 2007 episode of "WWE Monday Night RAW".

During his appearance on WINCLY, Ric Flair discussed the self confidence issues he had prior to wrestling Vince McMahon at the Royal Rumble in 2002. Here’s what he had to say: “That took a whole load off me. As far as my self-confidence with talking, I’m great. Getting in the ring – zero [self-confidence]. I get there in November and in January Shane asks, ‘What do you think of wrestling my dad at the Royal Rumble?’ I’m thinking that’s not what we agreed upon [laughs]. Sure enough, here we are. Mark and I talked about it. I was texting him while watching it and he was doing an interview on ESPN where he alluded to me. My self-confidence was mental while Mark’s was physical. I have had physical issues but I’ve come back from them. But Mark is 6’10” and 330 pounds and throws himself around the ring. He’s done stuff over the top rope that even Rey Mysterio does. He’s had injury problems and I’m glad that they’re showing what our guys go through. They think the injections and all of that are just for football or basketball. Take that times 20 as our guys are on the road 200 days a year… It was worse for Mark in his heyday in the early 90s as we were out for 60 days at a time. Mark’s one of those guys – and this is what I’m so proud of [Charlotte] about – they’re gonna go out there at a house show with 100 people and give them a match. That’s what separates the greats from the people who are just getting thru.”

Ric Flair also appeared on Wednesday’s episode of WWE’s "The Bump". He reflected on his career and doubled-down on his claim that Randy Orton is the best performer in the industry today. Flair also shared his thoughts on how important respect is: “We don’t have a diploma necessarily, I mean a college diploma, a lot of kids have that, don’t misunderstand me. But I don’t have a college diploma, I don’t have a degree, I don’t have a plaque that says I practice law, I don’t have one that says I practice medicine, I have a bunch of pictures and stuff like that, and Wendy has built a beautiful room for me which I’ve never had before because I didn’t, you know, I didn’t take the time, well I’m not gonna say, other people didn’t take the time and didn’t care so I’ll just say it like that. We don’t have all this stuff to hang shingles and all that so at the end of the day, all you have is like the respect that I seem to have from you three or four that I’ve seen today and your peers.” He also has credited both Dusty Rhodes and Ray Stevens for their roles in his career being a success. He said "At the same time, I took from guys and copied the same stuff that they were doing when I started, too. I always give those guys credit – Ray Stevens and Dusty Rhodes. I thought the world of ‘The American Dream.’ Man, Dusty was it. That was a 20-year rivalry. Every night, blood, guts and cage matches. He was a genius and phenomenal talent. At the same time, I took from guys and copied the same stuff that they were doing when I started, too. I always give those guys credit – Ray Stevens and Dusty Rhodes."

ROH stars played Dungeons & Dragons on their YouTube channel this past Saturday. Participants included The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser & Brawler Milonas), Cheeseburger, Session Moth Martina, and Joe Hendry.

In a chat with the "In The Room" podcast, Haku spoke about working with Andre the Giant and working as a tag team at WrestleMania VI in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. “He thought he was the same as you. He never thought that he was bigger. If he drank 16 beers, you had to drink 16 beers with him. If he drank two or three cases, you had to drink two or three cases with him. There were so many times I had to find the door on the way back to my room. He thought it was funny,” he said. “I remember the last time that we were together in Toronto for Wrestlemania VI. It was unbelievable. My whole family was there and it was a great WrestleMania for me. I appreciate everything about wrestling more now than when I was in the business".
