NEWS
Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt is reportedly trying to bring in pro wrestling, MMA, and boxing to his state as a way to generate revenue, following in the footsteps of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who is allowing live events to begin in Florida on May 4th. The thinking is that a good way to generate income right now is to have live shows. Stitt is said to be in a rush because he wants to be one of the first to have live events again so people flock there. It’s also said to be something that not everyone agrees with and it’s seen as a political move by some when the COVID-19 virus is still spreading and very dangerous.

Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal made his return to WWE on Monday night nearly a year after he was injured. Mahal suffered a ruptured patellar tendon against Ali at a live event on June 15, 2019 in Denver and had to undergo surgery to repair it. Typical recovery time for such an injury takes up to a year with Mahal returning in 10 months. Mahal wrestled Akira Tozawa in his first match back and won with his Khallas
finishing move. Mahal was originally part of the SmackDown brand but then got drafted to RAW.

Apollo Crews is being replaced in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match with a new entry to be determined this coming Monday in a Last Chance Gauntlet Match. Crews, who qualified after beating MVP last week, suffered an injury on RAW on Monday while wrestling Andrade for the United States Title. He was later taken out of the Ladder Match. The Last Chance Gauntlet Match was announced during "The Bump", but no participants were revealed. Austin Theory, MVP, and Murphy were the ones who lost from RAW's side and while you can't really have a Gauntlet Match with just three people, it's looking likely that those who didn't qualify from SmackDown's side will also be part of this match despite the spot belonging to the RAW brand.

John Pollock from POSTWrestling.com is reporting that A. J. Styles will be returning to Monday Night RAW next week, his first appearance in a month. Styles was last seen on WWE television at the main event of night one of WrestleMania where he was buried alive by The Undertaker in the Boneyard Match. The former WWE Champion will be minus his fellow O. C. members as both Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were released from their WWE contracts. Styles admitted publicly that he feels responsible for their release because he couldn't protect his "brothers." Pollock also adds that Styles is expected to be part of the Money In The Bank pay-per-view on Sunday. Next week's RAW was taped this past Monday as WWE held back-to-back television tapings.

Wednesday’s full matches uploaded to WWE’s YouTube page include John Cena vs. A. J. Styles from Money in the Bank 2016 and the WWE Championship Scramble Match for the WWE Title at WWE Unforgiven 2008.

WWE’s YouTube channel added Triple H vs. John Cena from Night of Champions 2008, A. J. Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in a Last Man Standing Match from Money in the Bank 2018, and Shawn Michaels vs. Shelton Benjamin from the May 2, 2005 episode of RAW.

Don Davies of SLAM! Wrestling wrote a story entitled "Author O'Brien has been with J.R. through good and bad" which you can read by clicking here.

John Powell of SLAM! Wrestling wrote a story entitled "WWE sale imminent?" which was originally revealed by Dutch Mantell. You can read the story by clicking here.
