The next two books were fictional novels "Tietam Brown" and "Scooter".

-Took his trademark catchphrase "Bang, Bang!" from the B-52's song "Love Shack." The song was running through his head at the end of a match, and he held his fingers up like pistols while reciting the "bang bang bang on the door..." verse.
-Appeared as Cactus Jack, Mankind, and Dude Love at the 1998 Royal Rumble, the only time in which one performer appeared in the same Rumble under multiple gimmicks.
-During the latter years, Foley used a sock puppet called Mr. Socko to deliver the Mandible Claw. Mr. Socko was introduced to WWF fans in a vignette with Vince McMahon at the hospital. Foley (as Mankind) was using Mr. Socko to cheer up McMahon. The idea for Mr. Socko came from Al Snow. The fans loved Mr. Socko and eventually Foley began using it while WWF marketed and sold Mr. Socko sock puppets and T-shirts.
-Narrated the 3rd episode of the first season of "Dark Side of the Ring" on VICE in 2019. The episode was entitled "The Killing of Bruiser Brody".
