Other Facts: -Real name was James Ault
-Husband of pro wrestling valet Princess Shelina
-Nephew of pro wrestler Sheik Ben-Ali
-Cousin of pro wrestler Skandar Akbar
-As Great Mephisto, he was billed from Saudi Arabia
-While competing as one of the Infernos, they were billed as the "European Tag Team Champions". No validation of those titles has ever been presented.
-First white wrestler to wrestle a black wrestler in Alabama
-Suffered from an odd ailment that could never be diagnosed by any doctor, causing him to have constant excessive dry mouth. When competing as one of the Infernos, his manager, J. C. Dykes, would carry a water thermos to ringside with him and Frankie would drink from it during matches to keep hydrated (and the thermos also served as a weapon on occasion).
-Was the 1st person to team Michael Hayes & Terry Gordy together. He also gave Kamala & Percy Pringle their starts in the pro wrestling.
-He gained lots of fame by wrestling as "The Great Mephisto", however, he started his career in the 1960s under the name, Frankie Cain. Therefore, it is impossible for him to be The Great Mephisto that competed in Oklahoma in the 1940s & 1950s.
-Voted Most Hated Wrestling by the readers of Pro Wrestling Illustrated in 1974 (as The Great Mephisto)
-His autobiography "Raising Cain: From Jimmy Ault to Kid McCoy" was released in 2020.
-Passed away February 2, 2026 at the age of 93.
