-Wrestled under a mask as The Avenger until he was unmasked by The Super Destroyer on March 17, 1975, March 21, 1975, and April 22, 1975
-At one point, he had a Volkswagen Beetle driven over his stomach to prove his strength.
-Was Dusty Rhodes' opponent in his first match
-In addition to wrestling, he was also a designer of wrestling title belts. He designed dozens of belts, including the "Winged Eagle" WWF World Title as well as the WWF Intercontinental Title used in the 1980s and '90s.
-Inducted into the Nebraska Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2021
-Passed away October 7, 2021 at the age of 87 from COVID-19.
