-Was part of a talent trade between Jerry Jarrett and Bill Watts in 1983. Jarrett received Rick Rude, Jim Neidhart, Masao Ito, and Hacksaw Higgins. Watts received Eaton, Dennis Condrey, Jim Cornette, The Rock-N-Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson), and Terry Taylor.
-Before the Midnight Express was broken up in WCW, Eaton was briefly considered for membership in the Four Horsemen. He and Stan Lane, as the Midnight Express, were supposed to join Ric Flair and Arn Anderson in the group. Their contract was supposed to be sold to Woman by Jim Cornette (who would have then retired from managing and joined the broadcast booth permanently). All this was approved by Jim Herd and the booking committee, but before it could be put into effect, Herd backtracked on the idea, which ultimately led to Lane and Cornette leaving WCW.
