  3. Perez won title from Von Erich by forfeit
  4. Fujinami won title when the referee rules Von Erich was bleeding too heavily to continue.
  5. Fujinami was unsatisfied with the result and returned the belt to Von Erich.
  6. Lawler def. Von Erich in a Title Unification Match. Title then unified with the AWA World Heavyweight Title and renamed the Unified World Title. Title held up during a match with Kerry Von Erich on April 5, 1989.
  7. Lawler def. Kerry Von Erich in a rematch to win held up title. During this reign, on August 4, 1989, World Class Championship Wrestling merged with Continental Wrestling Association to form the United States Wrestling Alliance.

  3. Khan substituted for the injured Kiniski against Johnny Mantell and is awarded the title
  4. Von Erich def. Khan and won the title by DQ, but declined the title pending a rematch on May 28, 1984. The title was declared vacant on the same day when the rematch ends in a Double DQ. Both wrestlers are then barred from competing for the vacant title.

  6. Haynes def. Hernandez, substituting for the absent Adams.
  7. Haynes vacated the title in February 1985 when he leaves World Class. It was reported that Haynes was injured by Rip Oliver. Oliver def. Buck Zumhofe to win vacant title.
  8. Oliver is stripped of the title on March 25, 1985 when he is suspended for attacking Mike Von Erich. Casey def. Dennis Condrey for the vacant title.
  9. Parsons vacates the title on August 5, 1985 when he no shows a scheduled defense against John Tatum. Tatum def. Shawn Cody for the vacant title.
  10. Parsons vacated the title in November 1985 when he is injured by Rick Rude. Peterson def. The Grappler for the vacant title
  11. Brody won the title by DQ
  12. Brody was injured and awarded the title to Adams
  13. Atlas won the title by DQ. Title abandoned April 1987 when Atlas leaves World Class.

  7. The Von Erichs def. The Fabulous Freebirds in a Loser Leaves Texas/Handicap Match to win held up titles. Mike Von Erich was injured and did not wrestle in the title match.
  8. Adams, Hernandez, & Roberts def. Kerry & Mike Von Erich & Bobby Fulton, substituting for Kevin Von Erich
