The Outlaws def. Big Smooth and Jon Cross to become the inaugural champions. It's unclear why the Texas Outlaws were stripped of the titles. At the beginning of the Nov 10 card, the SECW commissioner presented the belts to Rebel & Fuel since they were, in his words, "the best tag team in the company." Rebel & Fuel defended the titles against Anarchy 2nd & The Enforcer, but Rebel & Enforcer each simultaneously pinned someone and the referee declared that they were the new tag team champions. SECW ran their last event on September 6, 2008 in Paris, TX

Fury def. Brett Taylor to become the inaugural champion. Taylor won the title in a Triple Threat Match that also involved El Grande York won the title although he did not make the 205 lbs. weight limit. SECW renamed the title SECW Eastern Oklahoma Title.

York defeated Brett Taylor for the SECW Lightheavyweight Title. When it was determined that York did not meet the weight limit for the belt, SECW Championship Committee changed the name to the SECW Eastern Oklahoma Title. York was stripped of the title on September 6, 2008 for failure to defend and the title was changed to the SECW Cruiserweight Title.
