Carnage won a 12-Man Battle Royal to become the inaugural champion. Carnage def. Slash in a Hardcore Match for the title Bishop won the title from Carnage by forfeit due to an injury to Carnage Carnage won the title by defeating Se7en, who was substituting for Bishop. Allen vacated the title when he left Oklahoma on October 4, 2019. Griffin def. Aaron Neil for the vacant title. GPCW ran its last event on April 16, 2010.

Title formerly named GPCW Cruiserweight Title. Li'l Joe was Cruiserweight Champion at the time of the name change, thus was 1st GPCW Wichita Mountains Champions. Carnage def. Joe for the title in a Hardcore Rules/Fatal 4-way match that also included Ky-ote Joe and Dane Griffin. GPCW ran its last event on April 16, 2010.

It's unknown when or how Knight came into possession of the title. Knight was stripped of the title at the first GPCW event for unknown reasons. The title was then awarded to Justice. The title was renamed the GPCW Cruiserweight Title on December 7, 2007.

This title was originally the GPCW Lightweight Title. Justice was the champion at the time of the renaming. Knight's title win was overturned and he was terminated from GPCW. His lawyer, Bill Dollar, got Knight's termination revoked and his possession of the Cruiserweight Title reinstated sometime prior to January 19, 2008. Xavior def. Knight in a Lumberjack Strap Match for the title Title renamed GPCW Wichita Mountains Title on December 22, 2008.
