Trailer Park Trash uses brains to regain #1 contendership

Trailer Park Trash is most certainly not the biggest tag team in Oklahoma. They may in fact be the smallest in terms of weight and muscle mass. Fans who have seen some of the messages left by K. C. on various message boards may not think too highly of TPT's smarts either. But on September 1st, they proved the old adage that you can't judge a book by its cover because they showed that they may in fact be one of the smartest tag teams in Oklahoma today.
When TPT defeated SWCW & ComPro Tag Team Champions Texas, Inc. by DQ on August 19th at the SWCW show in Oklahoma City, it was announced by ring announcer Jesse Storm that TPT had become the #1 contenders to the SWCW Titles. However, that was not the case. As guest ring announcer Dexter Hardaway was about to announce the participants for the 3rd match at the SWCW show on September 1st, SWCW Commissioner Mike Iles came out, took the microphone from Hardaway and demanded that TPT get their "skinny asses in the ring". TPT came to the ring with much fanfare and were told by Iles that according to SWCW bylaws, the #1 contender could not named as such by virtue of a DQ win. Iles proceeded to mock TPT even slowing his speech down because he felt they didn't seem to understand. He explained that TPT would have to wrestle immediately in a Triple Threat Match and the team that scored a pinfall in the match would be named #1 contenders. The teams in the match were Corporate America (represented by Ray Martinez and Matthew Emerald, and lead to the ring by SWCW Women's Champion Talon) and Beau Dalton & Sooner Xtreme Champion Luc Lapointe. The rules were simple. The first team to pick up the pinfall would be named #1 contenders to the tag team titles. The combatants could tag in anyone, not neccesarily their own tag team partner. At one point in the match, J. C. and K. C. were forced to wrestle one another. It seemed like a good plan on the part of Corporate America and Dalton & Lapointe. That is until J. C. pinned his twin brother K. C. to win (and technically lose) the match. Because the match did in fact end in a pinfall, TPT has been named #1 contenders at the time this story went to press. SWCW Commissioner Mike Iles had no comment when contacted for this story but the SWCW Championship Committee released a statement saying that they are looking into the situation and an official ruling will be forthcoming.
