Three people were taken into custody
Tulsa, Okla. — Stone Cold Steve Austin would be proud of a pro wrestler who tackled a suspect Wednesday night in south Tulsa.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol report a vehicle sped through a toll exit around 7:30 p.m. and ultimately crashed near 71st and Riverside, after a short pursuit.
Gavin Dixon happened to be playing volleyball in the area and saw the three suspects run from the vehicle. He decided to help by taking down one of the suspects.
"Me being the wrestler that I am, I went for his body and lifted him up and put him down very gently into the ground," Dixon said.
Thanks to Dixon's tackle and law enforcement at the scene, all three suspects were taken into custody. As of early Thursday morning, their names haven't been released.
