Former WWE and WCW Champion Bill Goldberg was interviewed by Xavier Woods at this weekend’s WWE 2K17 media event in New York City. The following are some highlights.
On the new WWE 2K17, Goldberg says it’s an honor to be in the game and to “virtually” face all of the WWE superstars of past and present. He specifically names The Undertaker as someone who’s “ass” he’d like to kick.
Goldberg then offers praise for Xavier Woods and The New Day, saying he’s a big fan of their work and that Woods is “carrying the torch” for WWE. Woods then said Goldberg paved the way for wrestlers growing up in Atlanta.
Goldberg said the process of shooting the WWE 2k17 trailer was great since everyone at 2K was really great to work with. He said hearing the WWE fans chant his name during promotion of the video game has made him want to rip his shirt off and hit someone.
