Sting vs. Triple H: Predicting Next Feuds for Both Men After WWE WrestleMania 31
Posted: Mar 26th 2015 By: Donald Wood
One of the most anticipated matches on the WrestleMania 31 card is former WCW champion Sting taking on WWE COO Triple H.
For the first time ever, Sting will be competing on the WrestleMania stage.
While there is no doubt that each man's entrance will be incredible and the aura around their initial staredown will reverberate throughout wrestling, how each man is booked coming out of the pay-per-view will be just as important.
Here are the best possible feuds for Sting and Triple H after WrestleMania 31.
Sting Must Fight Undertaker at WrestleMania 32
There are many fans who would love to see Sting wrestle in a few matches between WrestleMania 31 and 32, but at the end of the day, the only storyline that truly matters is the eventual battle against The Undertaker.
Just as Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao has been a dream fight for almost a decade, the storyline between Sting and Undertaker is something wrestling fans have been calling for since Sting first put on the black and white face paint.
WrestleMania 32 takes place at AT&T Stadium, and the WWE will be looking to set attendance records. One way to ensure the company sells out the building would be to build a match for an entire year in order to guarantee excitement and convince fans to buy tickets ahead of time.
Whether it?s at WrestleMania 31 or on the episode of Raw the following night, the correct booking of Sting following Sunday?s pay-per-view is a year-long program with Undertaker that culminates with one of the biggest matches in wrestling history.
Triple H Revives Feud with Daniel Bryan
After Triple H is done putting over Sting?that should be blatantly obvious at this point?the best possible storyline for Triple H and The Authority would be rekindling the angle with Daniel Bryan.
Bryan acting as the underdog face against The Authority would be the most efficient use of the COO and would elevate Bryan back to the main event level.
Triple H is still talented enough in the ring and popular enough with modern fans to put on great matches, and his role as the heel authority figure has been perfect. Add in Bryan as the representative of the fans being held down by his boss, and this is an angle that can be used for the next five years.
The match between Triple H and Bryan was arguably the best on the WrestleMania 30 card, and another series of matches between the two top stars could carry the company while other top wrestlers like Sting, Undertaker and Brock Lesnar aren?t on television.
Reviving a major storyline between Bryan and Triple H would make for a marquee feud.
